Gave this place a 4 star along time ago. Now 1 star is the most I can give. How far it has gone downhill. We stayed for only a mere 40 minutes and decided to leave. Food was bad, the famous clam did’t taste good,...grilled fish sucks, grilled prawn a ripoff and didn’t taste good, as well as drinks; charged almost Rp.30k for an ice tea. They used to be one of the reasonable priced restaurant, but not anymore. Now they are more like tourist trap, cash grab place. Definitely not going back.More

It is not a fancy restaurant with excellent service, but you should visit it if you want to try fish and seafood with reasonable price. As a pleasant bonus - beautiful sunset view

We ordered two dinner sets at Menega Cafe in Jimbaran. In our sets there are clams. However, we found out they used the recycled shells but putting small clam meats in there. How we found out? When you eating the fresh clams, the meat and...shell are connected. In our case, the clams are large clam but the meat are smaller meats and were separated from the clams. On top of that, the squid and fish is not fresh at all. We feel being cheated and it’s not worth our money and time to go there.More

We persevered and returned two days after the rain washed out our booking. We started with some simple choices that we thought would be enough. Indeed the portions were generous. The set menu for approx 200k (20aud) is a winner. Also the spicy green beans.....a bit like tempura green beans. Service was friendly and efficient didn’t have to wait long for anything. My suggestion is to try any bbq dish they were great. We returned the following evening.More

Highly recommend to eat here during sunset. Amazing views and the food is well priced. Highly recommend the bbq fish and Bbq squid. Clams were also to die for and make sure to soak up the sauce with rice.

Came here few times through out the years and is still the most popular out of the whole stretch of seafood restaurant. The food hit and misses. Love the grilled clams most. We came here without reservations around 5.45pm so we didnt need to wait...that long for the table. We got the table right near the front, second table 87. Four of us and ordered a bunch of stuff and a bottle of local white wine we spend 1500k. Everything was okay .. the staff as usual u need to call many people for the same thing until one of them bring it to u. I guess patience and no expectations needed to have a gd time here. Most important is the companion that come with you. I do still enjoy coming just for on the beach seafood dinner.More

Love to say I tasted the food this time but after two attempts of the service on seperate nights, once seating us to say that they had run out of everything. The other completely ignoring us. I believe they may have lost the special touch...they once had 6 years ago and 12 years ago on previous visits. Such a shame. Id try other places along the beach as unfortunately i think their nsme may be the only thing keeping this restaurant afloatMore

We are here on Christmas Day for dinner. Luckily we got direclty a table, but had to wait 1:15h for our fresh ordered seafood. Also the drinks took around 20min to be delivered. But I acknowledge that it was really very crowded that day. The...service staff was friendly and tried their best. The food (lobster and fish) was very delicious and the price (1 Mio IRP for 800g alive lobster) was ok for the delivered quality.More

The prawns and fish… all were so fresh & delicious!!! Washed down with fruit juice. Must try!!! Don’t miss this. Try to come early if you’re there during the weekends, otherwise the food may take longer to come as the place would be packed!!

We ate there several times. This is the best seafood restaurant on the strip. here is a primer: Go down and grab a table, get the number of the table and then come back up to the restaurant to order food. Don't go with a...set menu. the one I had was pathetic. Order some fish and clams and prawns, and then you can specify which sauces you like on your fish. The black pepper sauce and the garlic sauce are particularly good. We were unimpressed buy the quality of the crabs and lobster. You can order by the kilo and you can also ask for a half kilo of any particular fish or item. Here are a few tips: go about half an hour or 40 minutes before sunset. that way you can get a good table, also if you arrived during the dinner rush your food will arrive cold. Drinks are ordered from the table, not the kitchen. Whatever you are wearing is going to stink like smoke or at least a day so plan to leave them out all day or wear the same pair of stinky clothes to dinner the next night. When you get tired of being smoked out, try the Bullshead a steakhouse or the French restaurant right up the street.More

Went here twice in 2016 and because it was memorable we went again. Four of us couldn’t fault the meal, amongst the best prawns crabs and lobsters we’ve ever had. Not the cheapest meal we’ve had in Bali but extremely good value for money especially...if you compared the same meal in Australia or New Zealand. It would cost at least 2 or 3 times more.More
