Over-Price! Horrible Service! Blanded Taste! Lot of flies throughout our early dinner! Always go around to survey those restaurant around there. Never over-trust your driver recommendation.

The Sunset view is amazing as seen in the picture attached. The Service at this restaurant is also fine and the staff is fastastic to help out where possible. The issue here is the food ... It was hygienic prepared, but the taste has been the least flavour rich and was rather bland from any of our restaurants visited in... More

We wanted a sunset dinner at Jimbaran Bay and our local driver dropped us here (we later learnt that he was probably given benefits to do so). Food was expensive and below average. Service was quite bad as well. The only parts we enjoyed was the view of the sunset and the BBQ corn that we bought from a vendor... More

The worst and most expensive meal and a complete waste of money, so disappointing. We are writing this as a warning to others. Do your research before eating on the beach at Jimbaran. It's an expensive tourist trap. The food at The New Langsam Cafe is appalling. We ordered a platter for $80.00 that was supposed to have 8 mussels,... More

This was supposed to be our seafood meal on the beach at the end of half day tour to Uluwatu Temple but was absolutely dreadful. Goodness knows what the tiny fish was, 2 over cooked prawns, 3 clams which didn't look safe to eat and squid like tough rubber. All cold. Disgusting. Good job there was a chap selling freshly... All the taxi drivers on the island are 'compensated' to bring you here. So don't fall for the 'this is the best restaurant' line. It's not! The food is grossly over priced and of very poor quality. The staff are rude. The beer is served warm and the cocktails are dreadful. The place itself is dirty and unloved. There are... More

Although sunset may be the most romantic time for a lantern lit seafood dinner on the beach, a lunch time booking offers no crowds, the beach to yourself, and very little wait time for your meal. New Langsam Cafe certainly doesn't look like much from the street- in fact I was hesitant to enter!- but I trusted our guide and... More

Very romantic - located on the Jimbaran beach with tables close to the water - however, the prices are a bit high for the food that you get (seafood). Food was good but not spectacular. It was recommended by our driver... So my recommendation would be to trust tripadvisor for a better experience :)

One thing I was looking forward to doing was eating a dinner on the beach in the evening. Our hotel had put together a day tour for us that ended up here at the end of the day. We chose to sit further away from the beach but there was no lighting which meant we couldn't see our food. I... More
