Mussoorie, a tourist hotspot nestled in the lower Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, boasts of a variety of colonial-era buildings that have now been refurbished into hotels and restaurants. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and here, most of the prominent hotels, restaurants...and BnBs offer a lavish spread for breakfast. Either continental or Indian, the items served range from cereals, fruits, different breads served with sweet and savoury accompaniments, a variety of meats (cold cuts) and vegetarian breakfast delights (as per preference). Emily's has always been my 'go-to' place for breakfast, due to the ambience, excellent service, quality of food (and partly because of its proximity to where I reside in Mussoorie). As a mussoorie local, I must add that over the last couple of years we have been spoiled for choice, with the many eateries that have opened up for business (dampened by the pandemic nonetheless). However, Emily's remains to be my favorite, any day! Do visit Emily's at Rokeby Manor whenever you are in Mussoorie next.More

Highly overrated restaurant. Been visiting since years and I have never really been fond of the service, always went for the location but this time- the service just hit rock bottom. Horrendous is the word. Rude in attentive staff including the manager. The food is...so so so sad too. My chicken khowsuey had majorly potatoes in it. What?! White sauce chicken pasta was bland. Toffee cake was good but the service just put me off. The restaurant was empty but I couldn’t manage to get a glass of water for 40 minutes.More

The food was mediocre and very expensive. We ate the continental and tried almost everything. The loaded potatoes were good. The sticky toffee pudding was awesome. But the rest was average.More

On holiday in Mussoorie and went to walk the Landour Loop which is fantastic. On a weekday. So our hotel manager (Savoy) suggested that we stop at the Rokeby for lunch. Emily’s was so quaint, quiet and relaxing. Good menu - a bit worried it...was so extensive with western food but they manage well. Had lasagna and pasta bolognese. Both good. Service was great. They don’t have a liquor license but it’s ok.More

Lovely cafe type food, Cosy ambience though hard to imagine it being a plus point during summer months. A pain coming up the hill just for the restaurant, if one is not staying nearby.

The food here was delicious! We ordered different dishes and none of them failed to make our mouths water. Not only that, the service was great and the manager was very cooperative. Their signature dish the 'sticky toffee pudding ' was simply amazing and we...couldn't have hoped for a better way to end our lunch. Overall, a one of a kind experience.More

Had lunch here before leaving Mussoorie. Awesome place 30 minutes from main Mussoorie, in Landour. Ordered quick bites as we wanted to have a light lunch. Really relished whatever was ordered. The ambience, sun and wind added to the taste. Highly recommended to go for...a meal here! Kids loved the nan based pizza which was indeed a break from thick base pizza.More
