Dehradun's oldest bakery Old Ellora's serves some droolworthy cheese balls and trust me, when I say so. The first time I visited Ellora's was in 2016, when I came to Dehradun for higher studies and work. I had tried a lot of baked products and...have no complaints so far. I had this cheesy beauty back in February this year during a solo food trip in Ashtley hall. What I love about this quick snack is, it is simple in its own way, creates no fuss at all, has two of my favourite ingredients potato and cheese which almost overpowers my emotions to have one more (probably that "One more" thing continues until my "Tummy khush hota hain"). What I love more about this cheese ball here especially is due to its elongated shape. I mean, I couldn't be more thankful for the "No sphere" concept. Also it is lightly spiced (read it, sigh of relief for me) and crisp to perfection. Special mention for the cold coffee. Deserves a bow.More

While visiting Dehradun everyone visits this most famous bakery on Rajpur road. It is popular for different types of cookies, breads rusks and dry cakes. It also offers snacks, cream cakes. Good quality products though a bit overpriced. Cookies start from Rs 600 per kg. Butter...almond, marble cookies and plum cakes are highly recommend.More

We picked up a bunch of things from Ellora's: coffee paper cookies, choco chip cookies, choco fudge cookies, cake rusk, chocolate-coated almonds, fruit cake, and of course, stick jaws, and everything - I mean everything - was simply amazing! I am, however, kicking myself for...not getting more of the choco fudge cookies! These are some of the best I've had, better than any of the expensive bakeries in Bombay, and at half the price! I'd definitely recommend these and really just anything from here! The staff at Ellora's is also very helpful. The only suggestion I'd have for them is to have tasting samples, so people (especially those like us who are not familiar with their products) can make better, informed choices.More

If you always thought biscuits had to be sweet, this is the place to go for the best Jeera and Ajwain bisuits. They also have a variant of gluten free. Also the worlds tastiest cream rolls......mouthwatering.

There are a couple of Ellora bakeries in town so maybe you were led to another one. It’s best to ask the locals for directions- they’ll definitely know since it’s pretty renowned
