Good looking place dressed in Tibetan style attracts the visitors. We had a business meeting that ends in 30 minutes. We sit near the back windows having looks of Rajpur Road houses and hills in the background. Next time I will try their food also....The Currency Wall is also attractive. The Kalsang also has a Cafe at Ground level. The restaurant and the Cafe are easily approached and have sufficient parking with guard.More
The over hyped Kalsang resturant was worse then a Chinese food truck . Went there for dinner n found the staff washing the first floor @ 10 pm. The second floor seating is accessed through the washing area which smells very bad. The food was...cold n awful tasting. The staff treats you as u have done them a favor by coming there. The place is dark n peculiar smelling.The food tastes n feels like its pre cooked n stored for the evening . The only saving grace was the good music. Highly unsatisfactory n wouldn't recommend.More
This place has some really awesome, tasty food. If you're looking for fine dining, romantic dinner- then please do not go to this place. Not that Kalsang is a shack kind of a place- it is a proper restaurant with medium grade decor and service....All is compensated by the quality and quantity of food. Must Must Try.More
The restraunt ambience is good and decor is also authentic but it desperately needs a cleaning properly, the tables are dirty and sofas are not clean at all, old food leftovers are there. Cockroaches are there on edges and menu as well had cockroach in...it. Food is overhyped and chocked momos didn’t tasted fresh! Lotus root starter was not good and was in oil all over…. They should focus on cleaning and pest control of restraunt first and also focus on quality of food over qnty.More
It's My wife's favourite restaurant.& It was my 1st visit. But trust me Every dish is exceptional in QUALITY & quantity.....just 1 THUPPA WILL FILL YOUR STOMACH.YOU CAN HAVE A FEEL OF ORIGINAL TASTE & SUPER AMBIENCE.....just go for it.
If you are a foodie and like to taste different cuisine visit this place.I loved the devil momos and chicken chopsuey..The cafe below the restaurant has lovely desserts so save your appetite.
Must Visit for all foodies. One of the best Tibetan food I ever had. They serve Authentic Thukpas and CURRY dimsums. Portion size is more than enough for 2-3 ppl. Courteous and warm service team. Had best dinner after a week stay in Dehradun

I didn't like the interior, it was kind of dirty at places I didn't like the food and there was some odd smell. Though there is a branch of this restaurant near the clock tower ...that I had visited 1st and I enjoyed the restaurant,...the food ...it was amazing . But this branch was bad .More
Kalsang restro dinner We visited the Kalsang Restaurant for authentic Pahadi cuisine. A very good place. Great ambience. One of the best restaurants in Dehradun. It was jam packed and had quiet a waiting time. If you are trying this cuisine for the first time...be a little aware because some of these foods get you off your taste buds. The spinach cheese momos were a winner for us. A little bit expensive this restaurant was. Compared to the slow service and good food I would rate it a good 3.5. Adjoining is the Kalsang Café for desserts and baked stuff. This was a highlight for us. It served great Banoffe pie and hot chocolate. So a good 4.5 for the café.More
I am not a great fan of chinese food. I had no expectation about the quality of food. We had ordered our Starters, main course and some mocktails. Was really surprised and happy after eating our meal. Everything was excellent. Interiors too have been done...very beautifully. Even the portion size was good.More
Came with high expectations but extremely disappointed, a simple request to add basil in my noodles was so bluntly refused that I just wanted to get up and leave, rude staff and extremely unprofessional, never coming back

Very good for family or official meetings. Proper dinning space and ambiance. Food is very very good specially chicken. I don't know about the veg. Very good staff. Proper space for dance. Drinks are quite expensive. Good for birthday parties also.
I went to have momos, tried them and found it really worth having. I would highly recommend people visiting the city to try it once atleast.
Recently visited here. Food was delicious and service was on time. I highly recommend this place if you want to visit with friends & family.
