Come for the show stay for the food

I was a bit wary when I initially read about the restaurant and its teppanyaki live kitchen which serves Japanese cuisine. Sushi was the only Japanese dish I had ever eaten before, and it was not something I wanted to try again. I, then, read some more detailed reviews and decided to take a chance with it. My wife and I went on a date to the Palate restaurant to try the teppanyaki live kitchen. The restaurant was brimming with customers. Fortunately, it was just my wife and me who had opted for the live kitchen experience, and we received personalised service from both Chef Shiv Bahadur and the serving staff. Having the food cooked right in front of us with the chef taking time to explain the items being served made for stimulating conversation and a completely different and far better dining experience from what one is used to. The food tasted better than how I had imagined it would, and all the items in the meal were infused with fresh flavours and aromas. The ambience was pleasing to the eye and the service was quite good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and I would recommend the teppanyaki live kitchen to all food enthusiasts or to anyone just looking to have an exotic culinary experience.

Very Nice Experience !!

The Palate is located at lobby level of Hotel Ramada. Since we were staying here, we had breakfast for 3 days and dinner once. It is multi cuisine restaurant. They also offer Teppanyaki live kitchen, Japanese cuisine. Whenever we had our meals here, we were more than satisfied. Their breakfast and dinner buffet was lavish and very reasonably priced. The different type of parathas in the morning were very tasty. Their service was outstanding. The servers and the manager were always on their toes to satisfy customers. Once during dinner we requested them to get our favorite mirch masala roti from their Indian restaurant 'Tadka', within few minutes it was served to us. Their wine collection was also very good. Worth trying !!

Food and Service are exquisite

The breakfast buffet at The Palate at the Ramada offers an extensive selection of cuisine from the Varanasi region, South India, and the UK. There is a selection of at least 4 juices per meal, desserts, fresh fruits, as well as chef-prepared dishes to complement the buffet offerings. Attentive service was provided by Tusher, Sahish, Arun, Pushker, as well as manager Abishek, and Chef Pankaj.

Half board at The Ramada at Varanasi.

We were half board at The Ramada in Varanasi. We had breakfast and dinner for 3 days. The food was delicious. A fabulous selection of Indian vegetarian dishes, fruits and pastries with live counters serving parathas and dosas . At dinner there was also some south East Asian dishes available including a small selection of meat dishes and fantastic fresh nan breads. The service was also very friendly and every effort is made to cater to your needs. Our waiter Tushar was especially friendly. The photo shows one of our breakfast selections.

Visit to Varanasi

I have stayed in hotel Ramada in Cantt area and hotel property is awesome. Amenities and hotel staff is really nice. We have opted for breakfast as well . Staff is really responsive and are very helpful in restaurant area. I would like to specially thanks to Tushar who understood our requirements and delivered the food with utmost quality, as few people were fasting in family. I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone.

Satisfactory Buffet Dinner @ThePalate at Ramada Plaza Varanasi

The ambiance was pleasing, but unfortunately, the actual experience didn't quite match the expectations set by the photographs on the website. However, one standout aspect of the evening was the exceptional service provided by Ms. Muskaan - her assistance truly made a difference, and she deserves commendation! On a positive note, the starters were excellent. However, the drinks we ordered were only average, which was somewhat unexpected for a venue of this caliber. Despite a diverse array of dishes available on the menu, including the buffet, it is challenging to recall any particularly memorable items. It may be time for the establishment to consider a refresh to infuse new energy and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring that patrons are treated to memorable and delightful offerings. While our outing was satisfactory overall, it's worth noting that we are not addressing the aspect of value for money. Additionally, recommend some attention to pest control, as we encountered a noticeable number of mosquitoes during our visit, which detracted from the overall comfort level.

Amazing food

The food here is simply superb along with their service. Our table was attended by Satyajit and Rajeev ali. They take great care of us. We wanted our food without onion and garlic and they just made an amazing Paneer and Biriyani dish which was simply mouthwatering. Highly recommended place to visit, we had a great time enjoying their food

Can't recommend this to anyone, health and safety hazards.

While the service to the table was decent, there was construction work and painting going on in the lobby next to the restaurant and inside the restaurant while the breakfast buffet was on during all 3 days of our stay. Even after requesting multiple times the management refused to stop the painting near us. I could not have my breakfast due to the strong paint fumes in the restaurant any constant loud noise due to the construction (when asked the staff mentioned that this construction has been going on for over an year and was not going to stop anytime soon). The food was average and sometimes undercooked/raw. The servers were nice but often had issues in understanding and fulfilling food related requests. All in all the restaurant and hotel are a big waste of time and money and the management is useless and even upsetting to deal with... I would rather recommend anyone to stay at home and fast for a day instead of going here as it is not healthy to dine here.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at The Palate. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, helping me choose the perfect dishes. The food itself was a masterpiece, each plate beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The combination of fresh ingredients and creative culinary techniques truly impressed me. Whether it was the appetizers, the main course, or the delectable desserts, every bite was a symphony of tastes. I left Palate with a satisfied palate, grateful for such a memorable evening. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to explore more of their culinary delights. Special thanks to Mr. Ajay for his prompt service.

We had a very good 5 day stay. Staff was very nice and attentive. Room was very well maintained. Food was excellent. Located right next to the mall. The chef Murlidhar, Pankaj and Tushar were very helpful at the breakfast. nice food, nice location.

Great Dinner!

Muskan provided excellent service tonight! She made me feel welcome immediately and was very prompt with getting items I requested- like my Diet cokes and garlic naan. I thoroughly enjoyed dinner because of Muskan!

Great Breakfast

Was very disappointed with the rooms and wifi. However the breakfast buffet was a surprise. Good options and great taste. The ambience and cleanliness was way better than how the rooms are. The live counter chefs and waiters especially Neelam, Pradita, Preetam were very courteous. It was a great experience.

The breakfast spread was good. However, the non veg options could improve. Croissants were not upto the mark, very dry and hard. The eggs were made by the chef to perfection exactly how requested for on both days. Service was prompt and server Kazim was polite and attentive.
