Because my train had 9h delay and I didn't want to eat the street food near the train station I looked on trip advisor for a good restaurant to eat. I walked for half a kilometer to get to El Parador. The family was friendly...and the wifi was very good. I ordered garlic stake (575 INR) for lunch and aubergine with potatos for dinner. Three hours after I left I started to throw up (at the train station) and the following night in the train was long and hard. Something in the food must have been bad. The funny part is that I came to this place and paid over 1000 INR precisely so that such thing would not happen. Be careful with this restaurant.More

This was one of my best meals in India! A beautiful out side area and cosy inside it is run by a Nepalese family who cook everything themselves and they are VERY talented. They are also unbelievably sweet and up for a chat. It does...take a little longer to cook as it is all done by the family, I would suggest going a little earlier then you intend to eat if a large group to give them time to prepare the meals with enough time that you won't be impatient to eat.More

This restaurant is a family run restaurant with Father, Mother, Son and Daughter all working there. We went for dinner there as part of a 15 person tour. It was the birthday of one of our tour members and the family sang happy birthday and...brought out a cake with candles and traditional Nepalese birthday traditions. Given the large group of us the it was a fantastic feat to provide us all with our different dishes at more or less the same time. I had the veg Nepalese dish which was quite tasty. If you are craving meat in India I would recommend the Spring Chicken dish which one of our group had and it was delicious. Overall, this restaurant is a cute family run restaurant and comes highly recommended.More

Great meals, served by the family owned restaurant. Totally recommend this to anyone coming to Varanessi. Reasonably priced, variety of meals and great peaceful surroundings. Love the family influence. 5 star worth of experience.

A nice change from what usually find in Varanasi. You can really tell that this is a family owned restaurant. Nachos are awesome. So is the beet soup and buffalo steak. We'll be back.

We had a great meal here. We were a little tired of rice and curry and so this came as a lovely break, I had the Mexican be a burgers, which were extremely tasty. This atmosphere was lovely with a very welcoming family as the...hosts. To top it all it is very good value for the quality and size of the meal. Would definitely recommend.More

This place is adorable, the father is so friendly and chatted with us for a good while telling of his past in Nepal. The food was good, the Nepalese thali was very tasty and a friend had the steak which was very good as well....It was lovely being able to relax and eat and talk amongst friends and not feel rushed. Getting here could be a challenge as it is tucked awayMore
