Guyssss..... If you travelling from Agra by train or bus or even flight... Donot go for the packed food served (esepcially in train).. I went by the brand name TATA... Which will usually never dissappoint you.. But unfortunately the Spicy Chicken Biryani that was available...in Delhi Mumbai Rakdhani turned out to be a major disaster... Totally tastless, uncoocked chicken..Biryani Rice was still tolerable.. Could eat hardly 2-3 spoons n had to dispose off the rest....however for my relief i had a backup plan... Lakshmi Vilas ka Lemon rice... Guysssss.. It was yummm.. Not at all stale even after 6-12 hrs.. The light rice with sliced green chillies & peanuts make it mouth watering...n yessss... the combination of Paripuvada (Dal vada) with it goes so well.. infact i felt nostalgic.. Was travelling by train after long...!!! #### Lakshmi Vilas Lemon Rice +Dal Vada #### Most recommenend dish #### Especially for travellers #### Love for train journey and good foodMore

This 60 years old place surely amazed me with it’s food and how it’s maintaining the food quality. I was amazed to see people coming in afternoon to have such delicacies. Not a moment when this place has no person inside eating something or other....The food I had was freshly made and quite delicious. The famous family dosa was good in size and taste as well; served with coconut chutney, tomato chutney, cooked potatoes veg and sambhar. Sambhar was delectable undoubtedly. Next on the table was a Chinese cuisine- veg Manchurian and honey chilli potato. Both were good in taste. Cheese uttapam was the next level dish. Only the thing missing was some crispness. But cheese was much fulfilling. Pineapple Kesari bhaat was a delicacy indeed! Perfect sweetness and cooked in ghee.More

Good food is like a prayer answered and for a foodie, food in itself is like a God. #thehapsisqaud was invited to one of the best tastings of all times in "Laxmi Vilas". And when I say one of the best, I really mean it....Starting with the ambience, the outlet is a regular sized family restaurant situated in one the busiest areas of the city, i.e Sadar. The eatery is neither too huge nor too congested, but is beautifully designed and decorated with complete focus on hygiene and sanitisation. Now, coming to food, where should I start, a picture is worth thousand words. Manchurian- a must try if you like indo Chinese Dosai- flavourful. Made in pure clarified butter and are so tasty Honey Chilli potato - scrumptious Malabar paratha - A Kerala style paratha, serves with korma, enough for a single person Desert- keari bhath Finally, talking about hospitality then again full points. The staff was sober, polite, respectful and kind enough to let us allow in the restaurant's kitchen and chef area. So if you're looking for a budget friendly restaurant which serves amazing food in proper health safety methods with amazing ambience and hospitality, Laxmi Vilas is the definitely the place to go. Our @thehapsisquad recent visit at @lakshmi_vilas_ was an amazing experience❤️ Their ambience was good🔥and the food was equally delicious. One of the oldest and popular restaurants of the city, this place offers a wide range of pure-veg preparations from South Indian cuisine. It is a...spacious and clean eatery with comfortable seating space for small groups and a family-friendly ambience. It is loved as it offers good quality food in fulfilling portions, and at reasonable prices. This helps make it one of the most popular and highly-recommended joints of the city. . My personal favourite dish from the visit was "filter coffee" and "Mysore dosa" . . One thing that should be given a special mention is their “honey chilli potato " as it was too good😋 . I recommend everyone to have their flavoursome family dosa and dahi vada once . Thankyou @lakshmi_vilas_ for hosting us .it was wonderful experience indeed.More

Lakshmi Villas is a 64 years old south indian joint. I have been going here since i was 10 years old. The taste of food has not changed even a bit. They still use exactly same amount of ghee(which i absolutely love), the same amount...of mild spices in their food (which my family absolutely adores) and the same old smile on their staff's faces while greeting us all. Recently, #thehapsisquad was invited for a tasting and we tasted the following, 1. Dahi vada: it was soft, basically melting in my mouth and had the boondi which gave it the crunch it needed🌼 2. Filter coffee: all anybody could say while drinking it is "Ahhhhh..." it was that good.🌼 3. 4ft. Family dosa- it was enough for 6 people and it tasted crispy and sambhar was good as always!🌼 4. Malabar Parantha- i could actually see the different layers of parantha which is a clear indication of how well it was prepared. Also the curry it was served with was tasty as hell🌼 5. Cheese uttpam- it's a must try at this place, it was gobbled in seconds.😅 6. Kesar Pineapple bhaat- top notch quality! 🌼 Apart from South Indian food we also had some chinese, which also was very yum! Honey chilli potatoes were crispy and the flavours it had complimented the crispiness.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 All that is left is they need to improve on the ambience a bit, it's been the same for a very long time. Overall a must visit!🌟🌟🌟🌟More

Hello friends, #thehapsisquad had an amazing weekend this time🧡 What an awesome place serving for more than 60 years now. They have an open place with chairs and tables. They offer southindian, Chinese food etc. The food quality is very good and value for money....Tried filter coffee (perfect), Dahi vada, honey chilli potatoes, Veg Manchurian, Mysore Dosa, kesari bhaat, cheese uttapam (was too amazing 😋) and family dosa (sufficient for 3 to 4 people). Both the chutneys served with dosa (tomato and coconut chutney) and Kesari bhaat are winners hands down🙌 The best part is that all the preparations are done in desi ghee❣ This is my favourite place for southindian now. Amazing food and the service is outstanding💫 A must try a place with family and friends✌ Quality and Quantity 👍 Reasonable price👍 Ambience and hygiene 👍More

I'm so glad and excited while writing this but today I experienced one of the best authentic south Indian dishes in the city. This place is heaven if you're into south Indian dishes from their Filter coffee to Cheese Uttapam. We as #thehapsisquad visited them...today and I'm glad we did. Started From Dahi Vada, Even had one of the longest Dosa (4ft) I have ever had. Till Cheese loaded Uttapam everything was as perfect as their Coconut Chatni. Ambience is appt so is the staff. A hundred and one percent recommendation from Kaho kya khaaoge. For more detailed review Find us on Instagram @kahokyakhaaogeMore

Clean, ventilated and hygienic ambience. The food isn't upto the mark because I used to visit lakshmi Vilas with my parents in my childhood and they were very good with their dishes then, but now, the taste which was the trend setter at that time...is missing and I'm disappointed. They charge you a lot but the food , it's just not good.More
