This restaurant has a beautiful location. The ambience is wonderful. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous as well. The food was mediocre - the lasagne was the worst we have ever had, and spaghetti was not up to mark. The dessert and starters were ok though. The time taken is too long for every single course.

The menu has lots of variety so expect the chefs to take a while when they are busy. Waiting staff are not attentive enough and need some training. When with groups do not expect everyone to be served at once. Prices are higher than some of their competition in Ooty. The ambience of the hotel is interesting and historical but... More

The place is wonderful, being a hotel carved out of a 150 year old British building of the colonial times. The ambience, the greenery - everything is picture perfect. We were received well and we had "extra" attention as it happened to be a wee-day and there were not many visitors during lunch time. They had a wide ranging menu... More

This was out second visit to this restaurant in the Ooty hills...and it didn't disappoint. Tips for dining here: - Get a table by the window or in the outside glasshouse - Order the continental (the fish 'n' chips were done surprisingly well They are pricey... The bill for a soup + 2 main courses will cross Rs. 1000 which... More

A very nice restaurant , retaining the rich heritage in a old bungalow converted to hotel. Didn't stay. Had lunch , went for North Indian, Good Kabab, mutton . Their thai green curry was good. Desserts try brownies with ice cream was bit over priced.

This is our favorite eatery in Ooty. We generally stop here every time we are in Ooty. They serve Indian, Chinese and Continental. Everything we have tried is great. Our favourite dishes are Crispy Lamb and White brownie. A must try for every visitor to Ooty.

Had lunch in the glass house at earls kitchen and the fooood was goooood. The ice cream was exceptionally nice and one could develop a habit taking the ice cream. Only observation was that it appeared to be patronised by mostly europeans but i could be wrong. The ambience was welcoming and the service was efficient though it takes a... More
