Delectable experience!

Being new to Coimbatore (visited for tourism, for just a couple of days), I Googled for fine dine restaurants and Kove topped the search list. Upon reaching, we were blown away by the decor, the ambience and the courteousness of the staff. They made sure my aged parents were comfortable, throughout. Even though it's a pure vegetarian restaurant, the creativity involved in putting together the menu, has to be lauded. With so many options, there's something for everyone. Also, a lot of care was taken about the presentation of the food. All of this put together made for an amazing experience for our last night at Coimbatore. The icing on the cake was the staff arranging a birthday cake (literal cake!) for me, at my husband's behest. Despite arranging on short notice, the cake tasted heavenly. We would surely recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family. We would also want to visit again soon. All the very best to the team!

Delight in every bite

Five of our family, were there for lunch today and had an amazing experience. Service by the team of Richard & Prabhu were outstanding. The dishes were truly eclectic with a spin of Indianization to the global cuisine. Right from the Tortelleni Soup to the SriLankan Kaju Curry, it was simply Palletic poetry in motion. Coimbatore badly needed a pure Veggie fine diner and Kove has delivered. The range of food (see my bill enclosed) was simply exotic to say the least and though a tad overpriced (but then, there's nothing called cheap & best right) we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. If at all there was something that could improve (and i have to think hard to find one) it would be the Parking. If the management could pull off something for parking or atleast arrange for Valets, this would be an absolute scorcher.

Progressive vegetarian food in Coimbatore

The Manchester of South India is weaving a new Coimbatore. My first visit to this little city was in 1998 when I married a young man from here. Our reception was held at the most iconic Annapoorna, I was told this was one place where many of the coimbatorians get hitched! Our visits to this city continued over years and stories about how my husband and his friends use to hang around Annapoorna was something I got used to hearing often and at times the stories kept on repeating as friends who are all around the world kept coming to Coimbatore for their vacation. By now it had become a household name for me who came from Mumbai. The morning coffee and breakfast was a ritual everytime we came to Coimbatore from Chennai. We hosted and attended many weddings over the years! Few years back when we saw the place closed for renovation, we were a little disheartened but at the same time excited and waiting for it to open. Little did we know that the wait was totally worth it. My heart swelled with Pride and happiness to what I witnessed today! Coimbatore you have arrived should I say more! The structure, the food, the ambience, the service and the warmth was class apart! Would I have ever thought of me seated in a vegetarian restaurant and enjoying the most amazing cocktail along with my family few years ago in Coimbatore???and today I was right here in this place enjoying Nannari Negroni & Jalapeno Mojito, really what - a - what -a !!! And wait, vegetarian did I say? Let me correct myself progressive vegetarian restaurant, because most of the dishes that we experienced today are specially curated for kove and kove alone by Gourmet Sage Hospitality Solutions who also are the principal consultant for this project. We started our meal with Tortellini soup and Singhada makkai shorba. From Italy to North India the soups were spot on with the right flavour, taste and presentation. The brocolli Thai cold salad sure was a pleasant twist to the salad experience. The Asian fusion to the south indian curry leaves the cream cheese Rangoon to the karuvepillai baby corn the journey kept the flavours intact. The yam urandai kuzhambu ( yam balls) in South Indian gravy served with ghee rice was as good as the Nasi Goreng that was our main course. The mocktail shoots definitely intersting not only for the eyes but the palate too! The finale for this meal sure had to be exceptional. The nanari Sorbet was a refreshing palate cleaners and the best friend to someone who is vegan! The lucky Irishman was my favourite since I love Bailey's! Kove at ikon, Annapoorna is definitely a place to visit for the sheer experience of something very very special, it is an experience not to be missed along with family and friends! A place to make memories thinking of the old, cherishing and embracing the new! And raising a toast with cheers to new beginning!

Total new experience with vegetarian food in your plate.

Amazing food and totally new variety in menu. Our steward, Richard was awesome. He took the total control and suggested all the great items and each had its own flavours which certainly raised our eyebrows with surprise. Not to mention again all of them were super tasty. Also Richard was soo attentive that the moment we were supposed to finish items in our plate, he comes up with his unique suggestions and in a flash we have new item in our plate. Knowing hotel industry, it’s hard to have such employee in this field. Overall satisfying feeling. Surely will visit again and suggest our friends and family too to try this restaurant. NOTE: it will be to rush during weekends. Make sure to reserve your table prior.

Awesome dishes and ambience. Dishes were unique and tasty. Quantity seems to be less. value add like for north indian dishes they can supply Sliced onions and Lemon.. which a missing piece. though it is not an big issue taste of the region goes well.

Amazing richard

Would highly recommend the kove, it clean, great ambience and delicious food. The cherry on top for us was Richard our server, he was helpful, went out of his way to made sure our food came out at an appropriate time, we were a little late for our reservation. He gave great menu suggestions had a lovely sense of humour and really made our visit extra lovely and lively! Thank you Richard, your a credit to the kove team! Give the man a bonus!

I recently dined at Love and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The menu had a wide variety of options, with something to suit every taste, and the portions were generous. The dishes we tried were all beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The service was fantastic, with the wait staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was also great, with a warm and inviting ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience."

A twist tried though not fitting perfect

I had a lot of expectations before visiting the place I booked my seat for self and wife. The entry is from their crowded Annapoorna restaurnat which is as busy as ever always. this is quite calm and a real good decor with personnel trying to be exceptionally professional. however the most disappointing was the food itself. Though we had mock tails which were pretty normal but hugely priced for the place. Be it starters or the main course , trying to make the food special and tasty , there are plenty of crisps in the form of bread or pappad added to most dishes , which really take away the real authentic taste from the dish itself, every dish has an overwhelming taste of the crisps,which I did not expect at all, they have excellent food downstairs at Annapoorna for which this is way below par. Howevever it is a new experience other than the usual 5 star hotels in Coimbatore. prices do not justify the dishes served.

So happy to see the new menu that's created with taste and finesse. From the mushroom soup to the pumpkin soup to the Asian appetizers water chestnut and assorted dimsums to the bologinese to the Thai curry to the sorbet and cheese cake. This place is a food paradise for progressive vegetarian food in Coimbatore.

Had great time at kove .. menu choices were out of the world. One of the best dining experience we ever had. Special thanks to to chef Murugesan and the manager mr saran for offering special costomized menu for us. Most important guy is Gokul for his signature cocktails. Special mention to Akshya and Priya for their great hospitality. Rahul for helping me in choosing a dessert . Keep rocking looking forward to see you guys again.

Arguably the best fine dine restaurant in Coimbatore. Curd rice arancini is an amazing innovation bringing South Indian staple in an Italian form. The best vegetarian Nasi Goreng I have tasted in India. Comes with amazing soy satay. Cheese fans should try Blue cheese naan. Tiramisu fans, look no further, Kove has the best in Coimbatore

Had a great time with family in kove. Food was delicious and awesome. itialian, south and also north indian all dishes were worth the experience. Ambience was cool and service was exemplary especially Mr. Rahul who took care in every small detail. Great experience.

The ambience and hospitality was exemplary, Mr. Rahul who was waiting at our table was gracious and professional. The variety was amusing to say the least. A tad overpriced but can't really complain as the trade off is a quiet pleasent evening. Would recommend.

My family was treated to lunch by a friend. We werent expecting much as fusion food tends to very hyped up.But,Kove blew us. What an experience. Excellent food served in a very respectful and beautiful way.Gracious host,Mr.Sai and his team deserve special mention. Thank you!
