The right place when you get tired after visiting the city Palace
Food is very good and the ambience is so so ...very basic cafe type but they do hav a outdoor seating which is a good option in nice weather.
Portions are very good and prices also like a budgeted 5* as it is operated by HRH group of Hotels

We were here for a evening snacks.
We order our food with cold drinks and took ages to come.
Takes of the wrapes were good but not mind boggling.
We felt like place is little higher on pricing side. People are coming her because the view but not the food.

Had lunch here whilst staying at the shiv niwas palace hotel. Then popped in for drinks on another day.
Very handy before or after visiting the city palace museum.
Very good choice of food and drinks and all reasonably priced for being so close to a major attraction.
Staff were excellent very courteous and helpful in offering selections. Mr Jaswat Singh runs a great team and should be proud of them.

We came out of the museum and saw a lovely area with parasols and what looked like a great restaurant. Sad to say it went downhill from there. We waited 10 minutes for a menu. We ordered two cold drinks and some chips thinking that these might not take too long.... After 15 mins one drink.. after anther 15mins the second drink arrived. After another 20mins the bill arrived. NO CHIPS!
I recommend avoiding this restaurant...

Pizza pasta garlic bread fresh lime soda is what we ordered and all tasted very bad. You are only going here to enjoy view and no good food. We paid 4000rs for bad taste food. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Pathetic Mocktails and Cocktails. They use very poor selection of Lonavla brands for making their cocktails which is totally not value for the money they are charging. On giving a negative feedback their staff becomes defensive and ridicules the guest not only looting the guest by charging for a drink which is totally worthless. The service is another negative of this place. Don’t judge it by the HRH Group which it belongs to because there is nothing Royal about the service and their served product. All in all, a Big NO for trying this place.

We had amazing lunch at palki khana restaurant, Udaipur we tried Club sandwich, Arabic cold mezze and some cocktails very good food.
Specially we meet Mr. Sandipan and chandragupt his hospitality wonderful great ambiance, hygienic, very net and clean.

We visited Palki khana over weekend . Everything was amazing until it was time to pay bill. The attendant sumit forced us to post review and kept peeping on phone despite telling him that we shall do it . They said it was company policy and he was only following orders . Really felt awkward and forceful action.
I controlled myself, would have slapped for such forceful attitude

Coffee was perfect - ordered Latte and iced coffee - passed the tick of a melbourne who loves coffee

Wonderful experience in palkikhana restaurant (shiv niwas) after visit city palace museum we had lunch in palkikhana restaurant the ambience of the restaurant is good and there dishes was good and tasty we order sandwich and quesidella chandragupta singh is taking care of our table. Visit again

Today is my birthday 🎂 I decided to go Palkikhana restaurant for lunch with my family and it was a wonderful experience at Palkikhana, best food best service, we were carrying our home made cake so offer us lovely welcome drink special thanks to Mayur and sumit for best hospitality you made my day memorable.

After a tour of the City Palace, the restaurant was conveniently place right next to it. We ordered a Bhan Mi and Brownie, which were delicious along a americano. Staff is very pleasant!

The palki khana was at great palace in front of City palace food was very good we tried chole kulche and parathas taste was delicious 😋
Service by sumit was perfect . Nice to have food after a city palace tour

Fantastic coffee! Seriously the best coffee we had in India. Enjoyed it so much came back twice! Great service too. Came with biscuits too!
