I visited chirag restaurant last week for candle light dinner and was extremely depressed with food. Also, there was a man smoking at the side of our dining table( looks like he was friend of owner and I was shocked to see he was peacefully...allowed to smoke while others were having food). Not recommended at all.More

This place was amazing! I loved loved loved their curry with eggplant! That was just mental and I would definitely go back to Udaipur for this. Would recommend to everyone. Great view over the city as well!

We loved this place! We ate here about 6 times when we visited Udiapur and where never disappointed - even when a freak monsoon rain shower occured one night (first time it rained in 7 months) and the entire city was plunged into darkness due...to a powercut - the staff carried on serving delicious food with a smile under candle light. The vibe is chilled and you'll meet travellers that want to chat and exchange stories. This is all helped by an incredible playlist that will drain your phone's battery by Shazaming every other song...haha I would recommend the aubergine tomato curry, Manchurian and the paneer Chilli fry , you won't be disappointed.More

We went to Chirags Rooftop after another group of backpackers suggested it to us and we are so glad they did! The restaurant overlooks the lake and has a great atmosphere thanks for the friendly staff and great music. We don't usually tend to go...back to the same restaurants but with Chirags we went 6 times! Great food and chilled beer made it an obvious place to go to as night to hang out and relax. The food was value for money and everything we tasted was incredible. The owner and the staff were really friendly and couldnt do enough for us. A must visit if you are in Udaipur!!!More

Second home in Udaipur. The service is good (although the food takes time), the people are super nice and will bring you anything you’d wish for. We came here for breakfast lunch and dinner for a few days in a row. Affordable prices, best soups...I’ve ate for a long timeMore

A really cool atmosphere for dinner and the food was delicious. The naan delivery system is cool as well, a homemade dumb waiter. The palak paneer was tasty!

We arrived in Udaipur quite late and very hungry. Chirag’s staff had finished for the night so he cooked us our food himself. It was super tasty and he was so friendly and kind! Even when we tried to leave a tip he gave it...back to us and told us to donate it to someone who needed it. We would definitely recommend this place, and take his advice on his recommended dishes.More

The best place in Udaipur. The food is very good and the view is great. They also have few rooms with very good conditions. We stayed here for a week and it was excellent!! ישראלים

We usually don't repeat restaurants while traveling but in Udaipur we went to Chirag 3 times. The roof top has a great view to the river and the bridges, specially at night. The food was not expensive and very good. Everthing we tried was awesome....I definitely recommend the Rajasthan Pizza if you are bored from Indian food. The owner and the staff were super friendly and even greeted us when we cross paths in the street multiple times.More

We tried capsicum palak - green pepper with spicy spinach gravy, very tasty!!!! And they have a very nice view! Nice staff & very fair prices! You should try this place!

The best place to stay in Udaipur. Location is in the front of the lake in old town, everything to visit is near. Really good and cheap food,clean,cheap and arty rooms with beautiful paintings on the wall and in the room is everything you need,staff...and host are the best, they helped me with everything I asked for, I even forgot my charger and they sent me it in the city where I was next day, and the most important thing is that I was relaxed all the time, enjoing the good music, food, drinks in the night on the rooftop.
