This is a place you will enjoy and I'm saying place because it's not only about the food. However, the food is great: Try the banana pancakes in the morning, or the kofta (with paneer, cashews and raisins!) for lunch or dinner. Everyone who works...More

Great cooking class in which we learnt how to prepare three curries, chapati and a starter. Sunni runs a very friendly private class where we could play music and have a boogie while we cooked. Plus the food was delicious and that's not normally the...More

I wanted to give it 3 stars but decided it would not be fair. Udaipur is currently in low season so there was nobody in the restaurant. I had only a lemon mint shot which was fine. It says it's made from filter water. I...More

This place has changed a bit from our first trip 3 years ago. This used to be our favourite place to eat and the food was tastier. Now the foods tasted bland and we were dissapointed. We visited twice just to make sure the taste...More

It's a really nice place to have a meal! I had the pasta and it was really good, my friend tried the salad and thought it was sub par! Was very tempted to give a lower rating than this because our dessert took well over...More

We came here for lunch and were shown up to the rooftop terrace where you find a beautiful view of the lake and ghat. Lunch was delicious (a paneer wrap & thali - all homemade) and we're only marking down one point for the slow...More

It's refreshing to be in this more "local" feel area of Udaipur. Cross the footbridge from the much busier, hassled, touristed area around the City Palace. It's easy to find--don't let the necessity for a short walk across the lake prevent you from coming here...More

Do you still have a walking tour of local Udaipur artisans? If so, do the tours still leave from the restaurant at 10.00am? And how much would it cost for the walking tour?

When we were there 3 weeks ago they did. You just need to contact them and/or give them 24 hour notice so they can coordinate your trip. A day in advanced should not be a problem.enjoy!!

This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.
