We Landed at Sunset Palace at around 7-8 PM, the place was deserted although the staff was there but they had no customers, maybe due to the time of the season, we ordered a couple of Beers and to our surprise, they don't have Non-Veg Menu :P it was a bummer for us. Also, that night was windy and made... More
If you are staying inside a hotel in the fort itself you must enter this restaurant at least for a breakfast. The city of Jaisalmer will truly appear golden at sun set. Coming to food, local as well as north indian dishes are available. AMong the best was dal fry.
When we arrived at this place there was a blackout in town. They brought candles to all of the tables and the atmosphere was even more beautiful than with power. We had great Rajasthani food here and enjoyed sitting on the floor with a great view. Service was very friendly and fast despite the many guests. Thank you! :-)
We stayed in a hotel close by and chanced upon the Sunset the first night we arrived in Jaislemer. For the remaining few days we ate here every day for breakfast and dinner and loved it - food is great, we tried lots of different dishes. Lovely staff, especially the young guy from Kolcatta (sorry can't remember your name now... More
cross the narrow street you will find this restaraunt, good ambiance, panorama view of the golden city, daal fry was best perfectly balance taste, mixed veg is just okay best time to visit evening (for sunset view).
Excellent food!! I loved the stuffed tomatoe and the cauliflower dish I had (don't remember what they were called). Definitely stop by here for a dinner or lunch while you're in Jaisalmer. Watch out for sand in your food though...it gets windy.
Very tasty restaurant. The indian food they serve is amazing and the view is spectacular. We loved to be here! Als a very nice hang-out place for just a drink and meeting other travellers!
Ate at the restaurant with a friend with a great sunset view over the balcony. Really enjoyed our dinner. However, next day I realized I had left my camera beside the table. The staff kept it for and returned to the hostel I was staying at even though I had left Jaisalmer they helped ensure that it made it back... More
