Lovely place to hang out. Delicious clean food - we tried half the menu. Drinks are also delicious - especially the cold coffee and lemon soda. We didn't watch the sunset but the view is always gorgeous. The wifi is also great so it was...the perfect place for me to do some remote working!More
This spot is so beautiful and the family who owns it is LOVELY. We were drawn to it initially because of how friendly they were to the dogs outside (good energy 🙏🏼) and our intuition proved correct. They helped us connect with an incredible guide...for the day, Denise, (look him up/ ask for him if you’re in need of a guide!! He’s amazing) and later we returned for lunch on the rooftop, which was delicious. Our server was so kind and had a great sense of humor ☺️ We felt so welcome and encourage anyone who is in Jaisalmer to visit them and enjoy their outstanding service and hospitality. They really go above and beyond!More
Visited here for lunch. Would be a great place for the sunset as nothing is blocking it at all. Staff were really nice and food was delicious.
We didn’t come here for the sunset but could see it would be a great place for it with floor cushions in the ‘viewing’ area (so will go back for that). For a tasty dinner of simple rice, naan and a vegetable dish for one...person with two nonalcoholic drinks it was 620 rupees- very reasonable. Service was really good.More
Lovely guys runs this place, honest and very pleasant. Food was really good, and the view from here, especially at night is worth the effort to find this place. We came here 4 times during our stay, both for lunch and dinner.
At the end of a hot afternoon we by chance arrived at Sunset palace. Its a great restaurant with superb views from the fort. But whats even better: good tasty food and friendly service . Also good wifi. Comes recommended.

We came here for lunch and were really impressed with the food! We were initially worried as we were th only ones in the restaurant but soon it filled up with lots of middle class Indian people. We had the vegetable kofta and the Indian...stuffed tomato with roti and it really was sublime, and a nice change from the spicier curries we’d been having up until then. The pricing was reasonable, and we will come back at some point for sunset which would be really stunning given the location of the restaurant on the western side of the fort!More
This was a magic find. Jami was superb in assisting us with our general enquiries about Jaisalmer, our enquiries about the food menu and about all things Indian. 4 of us visited to view sunset. We relaxed with drinks on the low cushioned area… such a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, reasonable prices and a phenomenal view..! A must do when in Jaisalmer..!!
Stopped here on top of Jaiselmer for a cup of masala tea and a great fruit salad. The view of the sun set is great.
