Laxmi Nivas Palace is a very beautiful palace and definitely worth visiting. When we went there, preparations were being done for an upcoming wedding and so it was looking even more dazzling than normal

The place is more of bull and less of value. The staff is very raw Rajasthani. The restaurant and the palace gives a deserted look. Hardly any guests that too non Indians. The food is also ok. Overall ratings Ambience 3/5 Staff 3/5 Food 3.5/5...Overall 3/5More

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The building is spectacular, the staff helpful, and the rooms comfortable. We really enjoyed the food at dinner and the musical entertainment just made it more special.

The entire experience was very poor...Laxmi Niwas is super over priced during Christmas, was entirely sold out and their service was below standard. Food...was very bad in breakfast, aloo sabji was bad I think as many of us fell sick right after...we skipped the free...breakfast next day and went to chotu motu joshi instead. Elevator was not working. Rooms had bad, stained bath tub Wifi....wow, that never works on 3rd and 4th floor... assuming other floors had a problem tooMore

Truly awful experience at the restaurant. I stayed here for two nights during the peak Christmas season. Tried their Breakfast and it was really disappointing to say the least. They have a standard breakfast spread consisting of Aloo Poori, Idli, Vada, fresh fruits and eggs....Nothing spectacular to write about. I had a huge stomach upset after my meal here. Next day I decided to skip my breakfast or any meal with them.More

Food was good in Thali. But was it worth paying Rs 1800 + tax. No way!!!! After that also when we asked for Baati, he said - it is just one we offer. Which means it is unlimited only for some options.More

Its a great, majestic place to stay but there are few loopholes. The rooms are not soundproof and lot of noise pour in. To my surprise the breakfast was the worst part and had a very limited variety. Food was stale and the service was...too slow for words. Disappointed because after spending so much of money did not get worth of it. Otherwise the palace is awesome and the best part was morning recitation of flute in the courtyard.More

Was there for dinner with my family. The ambience was stunning, but was not reflected in the food. Few guests for the company , live music was good but the vibrancy was missing in the atmosphere. Food did not compliment as the rotation was poor....The display reflected more of the lavished culture of royal's than informative. I for one was not impressed looking at the display of killed animals for enjoyment. You do not miss much by not going there.More
