About
Across the enormous Junagarh fort, lies the Gallops Restaurant and Coffee House. If the sentiment of a strong bright fire and a warm blanket were made of concrete, Gallops would be it. Opened in 2006 but still as dreamy, it is particularly keen and committed to give an extraordinary service to one and all. With scrumptious delicacies almost screaming bon appetit, it has succeeded in attracting the loveliest people of the city. Staying true to its roots, nothing hits home like the Rajasthani Ker Sangri. From Wood Fire Pizzas to the Maharaja & Maharani Platter. The only problem one would face would be to narrow down the wide range of enticing options the chef has to offer. Fancy a cuppa after

Having seen this place mentioned in a bazillion guide books and travel blogs, and knowing it caters almost exclusively to tourists, my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and flavorful and the location quite pleasant. Don't come expecting an "authentic"...local eatery, but it's not a mediocre tourist trap, either.More

Lovely place for lunch. Very intentional menu and great service. Highly recommend. Directly opposite the fort so it’s a good place to stop at before or after the fort tour

Very good typical Indian food just in front of the fort. Perfect for a lunch before or after the visit. Clients were both tourists and locals, we really enjoyed our lunch, everything was cooked on the spot.

Ate here based on the location and recommendation of family. The veg food was great but the non veg was disappointing. We ordered a veg pizza which was bad, it used tomato sauce instead of pizza sauce. In non veg we ordered chicken seekh kebab...and lal maas. The seekh was average and while the laal maas gravy was tasty, the mutton pieces were not good. They mostly had fat and not enough meat. The veg sev and tamoto dish was very tasty and the service was superb.More

We stopped for a little lunch after our visit to the fort. The food was well prepared. The dining space has a pleasant ambiance with a view of the fort in the background.

Located opposite the Chintamani fort which is now called Junagarh built by Raja rai Singh of Bikaner in 1594 after getting support from Akbar for his Loyalty to the Mughals. Never ever attacked because of solid relations with the Mughals and the British. Food is...fresh but expensive. May be because it would’ve been a royal kitchen during monarchy days.More

Went for quick lunch, but there were group of foreigners where staff was busy with them ignoring other customers. Hospitality was uneven, they were treating foreigners better than other tourists, which was very discriminatory. Hotel management should work around this.

The food is fantastic, supeeeer tasty, and in great quantities. The space is really nice overlooking the fort. The price is right, but not cheap like street food. The meal for 2 people with 2 dishes with 1 side dish, starter and drink and coffees,...was 1700Rupiah (9€/person). Mr Parem, the waiter, was very polite and friendly. I loved it !!More

Located right outside the gates of the Junagarh fort, this restaurant serves all cuisines. Catered towards foreign tourists, it is somewhat pricy and not worth going for the food. The interior and exterior are run down, although renovations were ongoing. The espresso is really good...though, perhaps the only espresso in town.More
