Had heard about this place but discovered that it was just 400 mts off the expressway after the Pune side toll naka while travelling to Pune at Talegaon. A complete nondescript place but a must visit for Misal fans. Delicious Misal pav. They also serve...a couple of other things. The misal is not very spicy and is almost a meal, so make sure u go there on an empty stomach.More

I had been to this place twice. My first visit was with my friend around a year ago after been to Ghoradeshwar temple and after that yesterday I visited this awesome place. It's a restaurant with a normal ambiance, clean, can accommodate around 25 people...at a time. The service people and owner are very polite. The misal paav will have mixture of farsan (Indian Snack) with onions, tomato and rassa (a kind of Maharashtrian curry made of moth bean), soft but crisp paav (Bread) with butter roasted and a small bowl of curd. Two paav are served initially then you can order as required. This special misal as it is known going to cost your around 60 INR. The masala chai / tea is also very awesome. This place is located near Somatane phata near Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Shirgaon just before toll plaza. You can also visit Ghoradeshwar temple located nearby hill top and Ganesh idol which can be seen from around 2 kms. It's an idea place for people traveling from Pune to Mumbai from old express highway. So I would recommend this place for all misal loving people and newbies go and try this amazing place.More

If you want to experience sizzling Misal that will stimulate your taste buds, then this is the place you should be visiting. I visited one at Somatane phata. I didnt felt eating or drinking anything as the taste was so lively in my mouth. Try...it only if you can digest hot curry. It is very hot and you can get additional curry (tari) by adding it in your Misal. Best tried with Pav (puff bread) and lots of Onions. Bit overprized - may be due to its popularity.More

They are famous typical servers of Pune special Misal Pav and Wada pavs. Visited with 2 of my old friends from Pune. They serve you hot. Although hygiene wise, its a bit on downside. Ambiance is typical road side joint. Spicy and hot snack servings....Surely will tantalize your taste buds. Although keep water bottle always handy!!More

This is the best Misal i ever have had, though you have to pretty on time and wait in queue for what? Just a plate of Misal .. yess they are beautifully made.. and damn tasty...
