First of all, the food is very good. Their red velvet Cake is a must have. Secluded, quiet place. The interiors remind you of cottages that you read of in novels. Small, White furniture and a small, cozy place.!

The only reason for visiting this place was proximity to my residence. Was surprised by the simple and clinically clean ambience of the cafe. It reminded me of the village family run pizzerias in Italy. The menu was small but well selected The pulled pork...hamburger and coffee latte were excellent as was the service. Somebody runs the place from his heart. The only negative is the place is somewhat expensive.More

Fat Cat's figures in my top three cafes in Pune - cozy, understated decor, warm and friendly service, and their USP - the stuff they make. I hear it's *all* homemade. I have tried most of their cakes - from the gooey chocolate and caramel...cakes, to the unique seasonal strawberry and peach cakes with almond flour, the red velvets, chocolate + strawberry + red wine cakes. They are delightful, yummy, with an unmistakable texture and the lack of over-eager fluffiness - hallmarks of cakes made in kitchens not factories. That is stuff you don't often get in Pune (I can think of only one other place). And seriously, I suspect that everything that they have tried their hand at - they've made it taste good - actually very good and original. That includes stuff they only make on a whim it would seem - like a pulled pork burger, or a burger with a yummy ground bouef patty that they made only a few times, or another burger with just a simple pork patty, lettuce and some mayo. And then there are the quiches and some tasty Goan pork vindaloo with bread, and you realize that everything they make - they put their heart into it. Admittedly, I am a regular visitor - I drop by for a bit every time I am that side of the town. That's more than worth it!More

Just outside Salunkhe Vihar society, this small place serves excellent bakery and sandwich and burgers. Tried the sloppy joes.. it was beautiful.
