By far, the best'est' food joint in Panchgani

If you're in Panchgani, you simply need to have your food here. The owner Umeed not just suggests but actually prepares and serves the best Parsi food. Other delicacies are declicious as well. Ask him for suggestions and simply go by them - you wouldn't be disappointed. Don't forget to try their black Irani tea.

Great food!

Small little Cafe in the heart of town with a smiling attentive girl to serve you. Great Parsi food served piping hot! Well made Mutton Berry pulao with the mutton of good quality and cooked to the bone is a winner. The array of pickles sold at the counter are a must buy too.

The food was excellent and could easily make out that Shanaz the owner gives her 100% to what she dose. Her Dhun shak is really very good and one can easily see that quality is what matters for them. A must try place.

Authentic Iranian taste..

We ordered brun stuffed with burji and a brun stuffed with butter chicken. Also ordered a Chicken Russian Patti's for my kid. The taste is very authentic and the food feels refreshing and different.

Super cosy and feel good cafe

A must visit place to spend quality time with family/ friends over good food. The owner Mr. Omed is extremely hospitable and knows his food well. He will understand your taste and recommend dishes accordingly. Portion sizes are just perfect. Mava cakes, Stuffed Brun and Masala Tea are a must try.

Best place to eat in panchgani

I was recommended this place by one of my friends and trust me it was a good choice to try it out. This place has a very plesant and friendly atmosphere. I had the chicken berry pulao and the jagry lassi. It is one of the best places to eat in panchgani and would suggest others to try it once.

Another Poor Option for Parsi Food in Panchgani

Had dined at this Restaurant earlier when it was located in Hotel Onella Regency opp the ST Depot in Panchgani and called Meher Cafe and the Food was Absolutely Delicious. Meher Cafe no more exists at Hotel Onella Regency and a new Restaurant called Parradise has been opened by them on the Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar Road near the Bhilar Village turning opp the Petrol Pump. This Restaurant is quite large, spacious and airy with plenty of seating at 2 levels as well. It is not Airconditioned, but has Ceiling Fans and is fairly cool, so no issues there. It is also tastefully decorated and has a lovely, cosy ambience with uniformed staff as well. There is place to park about 2-3 cars outside, but no more. Having had a Great Experience at Meher Cafe, our expectations of this new, larger restaurant were quite high, but sadly we were very disappointed. Since we had ordered Mutton Dhansak the last time, we were recommended Mutton Sali Boti which the Manager claimed was also one of their Specialties, which we had with Brun Maska, followed by Caramel Custard for Dessert. While the Brun Maska was Excellent, both the Muttom Sali Boti and Caramel Custard were Very Disappointing. The Mutton Sali Boti was made with a regular Onion based Gravy, was served Cold and had hardly any taste. We had to ask them to Warm it up to be able to eat it. The Caramel Custard had Bread in it and was not tasty at all. Even though it was Lunchtime, we were the only Patrons in the Restaurant. Sadly our experience this time was so poor, that we too wouldn't be visiting this place again. As it is, Rustoms Strawberry Cafe (which is also nearby) has gone to seed and now with Meher/Parradise also disappointing, there is no place that serves Good Parsi Food in the area and this will surely be missed.

Good value n good food

Excellent food, we truely enjoyed every meal . We had ordered a course meal consisting of chicken sali boti and berry Palao and it was mouthwatering. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Menu is extensive and good variety of parsee n irani food and lovely starters . Hot dog is a must try . Definitely fine dining. Highly recommended.

Lovely dinner

Beautiful small quaint place for a quick snack or a heavy meal. The food was tasty, though the frankie could be a little more flavourful. Overall the staff is extremely sweet.. We were served by Pragati and Sumit who spoke well and served with excellence. The place should definitely be on a visit list to try their food atleast once. Situated in the heart of Panchgani exactly opposite the Bus stand.

Cherry pick your dishes

We ordered Mutton Dhansak and it was tasty. Chicken Bhuna was yummy but chicken pieces were almost invisible. We also tasted the Mawa cake & it was nothing to go ga ga about - in fact it was pathetic. Give it a try if you are around.

Great Place for Excellent Parsi Food in Panchgani

Lovely Cafe located in Hotel Onella Residency opposite the ST Bus Stand near the Panchgani Market that serves Excellent Parsi Food. Great Atmosphere, Cosy Seating, Lovely Food, Good Service and Reasonable Rates too. Adequate Parking is also available, which is a Bonus. Can't really ask for more. The only negative is that they only accept Cash & UPI Payments, no Credit Cards. We were there for Lunch and had the Mutton Dhansak with Chicken Farcha, both of which were Really Very Well made and Finger Licking Good. One of the best Parsi Meals I've had in a long time. They also have a good range of Unique Snacks and Breakfast items, making this a Great All Day Dining place. Surely a Must Visit everytime you visit Panchgani.

All time favourite!

Everytime we visit this cafe we have been made to feel warmly welcomed, comfortable and all of our needs taken care of. An environment where you can sit comfortably with your family, especially us 3 women who sat for hours over discussions! The staff, the helpers, the owner everybody took care of us well. Loved the food!

Visit panchy often. Found this lovely place. Ordered fish, chicken, Kati kabab n chicken pattice. Food was Amazing. The lady Shenaz was super nice and gave great suggestions. For foodies do visit this place when in Panchgani. Shenaz n team keep it going as after a long time has a good restaurant opened up in panchgani.
