Service is extremely bad!!! The first appetizer arrived in 1 hour 30 minutes. The food arrived in another 1 hour 30 minutes. I think the locals just order drinks and pizza, fried rice etc that comes fast and they prioritize that over our food. We...sat there for 3 hours with extremely bad service. Good for them everything closes around 9/10 PM so no where to get food. Food was not great either. Just hyped cause it’s better than the rest. This place is way behind Goa and light years behind Mumbai/New York City in service/food.More

This could be the best restaurant, especially for seafood, in the first 1-km of stretch of the North Cliff, starting from the helipad. Their fish varieties are top class, clearly better than what neighboring restaurants offer. When you choose a fish from the shopfront, they...are open to bargain as well. On some days, they live music sessions in the evenings, after 7 PM or so. While it has a lively vibe, there is nothing much to write about the ambience. Somehow, you do not get a good view of the sea, even from the upper floor. The service is quite ordinary. Local dogs roam around inside the restaurants, which can be irksome. Go there for food; don't expect much in terms of ambience or service.More

Good overall was great and the deep fried chicken 65 starter was very succulent. Fresh fish always available and cooked to order.

Whilst the service was efficient I did not feel particularly welcome. We were promised a table overlooking the sea but when the previous guests left, instead of inviting us to take the table it was given to other people who had just arrived. The food...was OK but nothing special. My advice is to go to the South beach and a truly genuine welcome.More

We stayed in Varkala for four days and came here due to trip advisor comments. The place is on the busy, touristy North Cliff and we had a table in a shabby area upstairs with no character , atmosphere or view. The food was ok...but nothing special and did not compare to the wonderful meals we had at Theeram on the South Cliff beach.More
