Brilliantly conceived and need of the hour cafe in Kochi. They have done well within the limitations of their space, but sadly that is the only drawback. Food is drool worthy (try their Pazhompori/Beef Curry combo) and espresso is one of the finest in town.

Since my previous visit here (March 2015) the service has become much more attentive, the space is clean, and the lighting is much brighter and appropriate for the ground-floor space, including some natural light filtering through the front doors and the library windows. Unfortunately there still is something of a mosquito problem, so do wear long sleeves. The menu card... More

This is a place to hangout. Tried a variety of dishes here, they were yummy. Be sure to order multiple dishes as they will be small on quantity. Ask for their signature dish Pazhampori and Beef Curry. The Behemoth Burger & Havana burger are good. Almost all dishes are small in quantity but very tasty. Order multiple dishes if you're... More

For the first time I felt at ease with my 4 year old son in a restaurant. The collection of books, the food, the music, the space around and above all the people in the restaurant, both staff and guests. It was a wonderful experience.

This was actually a favorite place to hangout. But yesterday (02/Nov/2015) we were the last customers to leave the cafe at 10:15pm that normally closes at 10pm. We got our club sandwich served with 2 tiny flies that flew away from the bread as the waiter banged the plate on our table.Next was the Kozhi porichathum hummussum. TERRIBLE DISASTER!!! The... The best thing about the restaurant is that the ambiance and the decor of the place. If you see it from outside its as old house, but remarkable change in the interiors. their attraction is beef and fritters. They also have an open air area too.. but its not well maintained. Inside they have a small stage, were band can perform,... More
