This is one of the places in Fort Kochi that serves Indian Food the way western people like it. It is authentic Kerala food but they serve it with a twist so you will be delighted. Do follow the advise of the waiters and share...your food with the others at your table, that way you can try so many more dishes.More

The cafe is in an old colonial building on 2 floors and is great. We were there a few times as it is central for a seat and some fresh fruit juice or a late breakfast ..... once for dinner. All the food was excellent...and it was a very comfortable place to sit and catch up of the next half of the day. Lovely place with good food.More

Went here after reading Trip recommendations but was v disappointed. Grilled pineapple & prawns the only good things we tasted. Curries were swimming in ghee- in a way I’ve not seen at all anywhere else in south India. Vegetables were cooked from a frozen mix...(cauliflower, peas, carrots) & grilled prawns arrived oddly with (not fresh) mash & veg when we were expecting more traditional accompaniments. I would not recommend going here for a meal.More

As soon as we set foot into Farmers Cafe it felt as though we had gone back in time in this old converted rustic colonial building. We were seated in the central open courtyard next to the open kitchen area. We ordered Onion Pakoras for...starters to share and for mains we ordered Calamari cooked in Herbs and Garlic, Grilled Lemon Fish with Mashed Potato and Vegetables and Fish Masala with Coconut Rice and complimented with Chapatis. Every dish was freshly prepared and cooked, plus it certainly brought you the taste of Kerala to your table.More

We loved eating here during our stay in fort Cochin, returning a number of times for dinner. The food was amazing. Everything was delicious, particularly the seafood. The service was excellent and the staff friendly, professional and relaxed. We loved to historical features of the...building and pondering its past. It was an oasis of good style and peace, and a break from the hustle outside. Highly recommend.More
