Located about 45 min drive from Chikmagalur , on the highway leading to Mallandur. The cafe adjoins a very large coffee estate. It overlooks the valley and the distant hill range. Done up in a very basic pagoda type open air construction in a small...garden. The ambience created is very nice. We stopped over only for snacks and coffee and cannot comment on food; the coffee was from the estate itself and tasty. Overall a good experience, with the drive through winding hill road running through the forest, adding to the overall experience.More

YOu can park the car outside the cafe, and walk along the road carefully for some good views. You can also take some snaps inside the cafe. Nice service.

The Estate Cafe is set on the way to Muthodi forest / Badra tiger reserve. The idyllic cafe is located on a scenic bend, and is rather quaint. It provides a lovely view of the hills. We had a couple of beverages there and they...were top notch!More

Food - good taste at reasonable price Drive to the place is little tricky. It's a bit like ghats section. But beautiful view. Road goes between the coffee plantation. Location - great view.

This is a must visit place in Chikmagalur. The best is to call Owner Uttam ji and book a coffee plantation walk in advance. His sharing of history of the plantation and coffee producing details are amazing. After that, an excellent lunch will be only...apt. Pepper chicken and Porata are must try. The place is serene with nice parking facility and the drive is breathtaking. Not to be missed... 👍👍More

If there is a place where you need to have an experience of Chikmagalur, look no further. It has everything that Chikmagalur has to offer, coffee plantation trails curated by the owner Uttam Gowda, a 3rd generation plantation owner , a thorough gentleman and true...coffee lover . The cafe is impeccable in its cleanliness , outstanding food and more importantly the ambience created amidst the plantations. Its about 30-45 minute drive from the town. Our family of 4 had a fascinating experience at the estate cafe as well as plantation trail trip led by Uttam himself ! We were at the right time to see the coffee seeds being picked , processed and also a live experience of seeing the entire plantation, the majestic British era bungalow maintained with perfection and the sprawling coffee seeds processing area. Its not just another must visit, its an experience which will continue to linger long after you have left this magical place !!More

We stumbled upon this cafe by chance while travelling from Mallundur to Chikmagalur. We stopped around to click pictures and luckily saw this cafe. Beautiful cafe set up with lush greenery all around and cosy ambience. Great place to spend quality time, sipping coffee, munching...snacks and enjoying the scenic beauty exactly opposite to the cafe. Don't forget to try out their: o Hazelnut Coffee o Black Coffee o Filter Coffee Our short break turned out to be a refreshing experience.More

Situated on the way from Chikmagalur towards Mallundur is this cafe. It has been tastefully created and has a pool table and a box DJ set. The front sit out area overlooks the valley which is fantastic. People stop here to have a coffee or...a light snack while viewing the valley. You can play pool for a nominal charge. My experience turned bad when they could not serve me lunch as per their menu card. Almost all of the things were not available. I went on a Sunday afternoon and was shocked to find only 1 waiter running around. You can stop here for a cup of coffee but definitely not recommended for lunch.More
