Vidyarthi Bhavan is one of the oldest authentic kannada restaurants. The Menu is limited but the taste is something that you will never find elsewhere. very brisk service and hasle free, Evenings are very crowded and you have to wait at least 20 mins to get ur turn. Advise you to go early in the morning and enjoy the rich... More

This is not your posh eatery, nor can you expect valet-level service, but if you ever want an authentic, original, clean and mouthwatering (a tad more on ghee though, if you want to watch out), don't miss Vidyarthi in Gandhi Bazaar, especially vada and masala dosa.

Vidyarthi Bhavan is a restaurant which I have been visiting since I was kid... The Restaurant is closed on Friday. Though it is very famous for Dosa.. You cannot miss the Rava Vada which is equally good. Order a Rava vada which is served in a Jiffy and keep eating till the Dosa is served.. Over a period of time... More

You need to wait and share table with the stranger, but the food is good. Masala dosa - the content, the way it is brought & served. All is worth the time to spend for. The dosa is quite filling and good enough for brunch. Kharabath and Vada are also good. Food ends with nice filter coffee.

This is a favorite of locals and has been in business for a very long time. Located in the crowded market of Ghandhi Bazaar, it might be tough to get a seat. Be prepared to wait. Coffee of course is super. Idli, Vada, Dosa and kesari bath were excellent. Very simple in decor, this place is meant for enjoying food... More

I just want to sum up reviewing about this place in 2 words - Nothing fancy! Absolutely overrated place. Looking at the rush outside restaurant and reading so many reviews about it, I was very much excited to taste the food. Menu is a basic breakfast menu, no way staff is friendly or polite. Taste is very much average.... More

When I was a child of 12 years, I visited the simple restaurant, Vidyarthi Bhavan for the first time. As a child, I was excited to have hot and crispy Masala Dosa (Popular dish of Vidyarthi Bhavan). Especially in that restaurant, it was the best dish, which had evident pure Ghee on each Dosa. I used to enjoy the taste... More
