Had been there for Onam Sadya. To start with car parking, there were no issues as they had valet parking and managed well despite crowd on the day. Then coming to reception, they definitely have a huge area for improvement as they could not manage...well on attending the guest and allotting them table as per sequence/ appointment. It looked like they were seeing such a crowd for the first time and they were helpless in finding out who came first and who came next even though they had a list. Even after we made advance booking a day earlier, we had to wait for more than hour for the table and another half an hour on the table. Coming to service, staff was good but they were under pressure due to crowd. Food served was good in taste and quantity but is pricey. Again there is a significant scope of improvement on cleanliness. Overall it’s a good restaurant but if they can fix few areas as mentioned above, it will be goodMore

We went for the expensive Onam Sadya at Ulsoor, Bangalore. The food was bad. The service, the worst. Banana chips were powdery. I could not find a full-sized chip. Morkuzhambu was chilly, directly taken out from the fridge and kept on the table. Neiparuppu [dal...with ghee] was kept on the plate without ghee. When we asked for it, they kept a bowl of ghee on our table and went away. They did not bother to ask us for the second-serving. When we asked for extra Pappadams, they kept the exact number, equal to our family size and disappeared. The grim-looking waiters were untrained. They kept the food on the table and vanished. Payasams/Pradhamans were not at all tasty. On the whole, I consider it a waste of money, time and energy. I will not visit there again.More

typically one would rate a restaurant by its food primarily and hence the 4/5. However, the decor is jaded, feels slightly unclean, and the service was not so prompt. But there is an opportunity here to sort out all that since the fundamental food preparation...is excellent !!More

The food is always authentic Kerala and from different parts of Kerala, presenting cuisines of different communities of Kerala. The quantity is also just right, with second helping for those who desire it. I am referring to the sit down meals on Onam and Easter....We have always enjoyed our meals and the ambience.More

We went to Ente Keralam, Ulsoor for the traditional Onadadhya on Onam day. First the pros: The two main waiters who seated us and took our orders were polite and attentive. The food layout was aesthetic (see pic). Quantities were adequate with seconds green generously....The place where we were seated was the Thai restaurant next to EK. It was neat and clean. The four types of Kerala payasams we're outstanding, delicious and memorable. The cons: The place mat carried a message from the chef, a Namboodiri who assured us that he will feed us well. But the food was a MAJOR disappointment. Except the Mathanga Erissery and Sambhar, every other item was tasteless. They even got the moru curry wrong. We ordered some fish dishes, they were fried crisp and tasteless. Besides, the price for two sadhya and two fish dishes cane to 4K. We would have got better fare in a ordinary Kerala mess that dots the city.More

Having made a reservation for Onam Sadya on Aug 25th, we were so excited to taste the sadya. Though we had made the reservation, there was too much confusion in giving us a table. Then came the food, the Onam Sadya...The meals was very ordinary,...most of the items were very cold. None was the items tasted good. The sadya cost 900 per person, which is not worth at all. You could get the same food elsewhere for 100 bucks. We felt very terrible after having the sadya. We will NEVER again visit this place.More

Hi we sat upstairs but I noticed that there was seating downstairs as well. Unfortunately I am not sure about the toilets as none of us used it. You may not have to book on a weekday for lunch.

Hi. As far as am aware, there is no buffet lunch on regular days. I think they have Sadya only for special occasions. But if it is for a minimum number of people, you can check with them whether they can work out a set menu... More
