Yama cafe was our go to place on Chanspa not only because of good coffee and local food but for the kind people who run it. Mr. Rinchen and his wife Nilza are very hospitable and always take time out to have a good conversation with all customers. Must check out this cafe when in Leh.

I have been in this coffee place many times. I have just felt so confortable with the cosy atmosphere, the delicious local food and specials teas. And you can read some books in nice seats. So highly recommended for having a good break in Leh area, on the way to Shanti stupa.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and need some rejuvenation. Head to the Yama cafe. The vibe, coffee and delicious food of the place is a treat for mind and tongue. This has been my go to place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My personal favorite has been the Ladakhi cuisine served here..
Also, you get a great sunset view from the place...<3 <3

A café that has unfortunately gone downhill. While it used to serve excellent breakfasts with good service from the polite nepali waiters, you will now find cheeky and unprofessional local girls that hardly speak any proper English dishing out soggy toasts, capuccinos swimming in cold milk and the like at inflated prices. A shame really: however in the meantime many new cafés have sprouted like mushrooms in town, so no need to panic.

Extremely slow! Took 1 hour to to prepare falafel and honestly the taste ws average and not worth waiting for an hour. We gave 3 reminders and only after that the order was served. Super slow, lack of staff. There are several other options just across the street, try those unlike less.

Great ambiance, amazing coffee and delicious cookies. I enjoyed spending many hours at this lovely cafe during my month long stay in Leh. Quiet and peaceful away from the busy market area.

Yamma coffee house in leh is a cozy spot and excellent coffee and friendly staff .There atmosphere is inviting and homemade treat are so delicious . Perfect for a relaxing break and come enjoy the beautiful moment spend with friends also........🤩🤩🤩

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the Leh!
I’m so thankful that, I was able to find this spot for some good coffee just in time. The atmosphere inside this coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Truly amazing! The owner and I have become very good friends and they helped me in so many ways. Thank you so much!!
