I had wanted to dine here during my stay in Leh so my guide Rezjin, organsied that we had lunch here. Entry is from the back with limited car parking. Walk through a small courtyard and eating area to go inside where there are more...tables and air-conditioned comfort. I left it to my guide to order the food - I asked that there be a salad as well. He ordered several dishes including an interesting soft dough bread scroll to go with the curry. he also ordered a speciality - lamb pie - delicious. All the food was. The toilets are outside and are squat - not super clean but okay. Happy we got to savour the great good, great service and colourful restaurant interior. Located a distance from my hotel so am glad my driver Imran took us there. Would visit again. Thank you Rezjin for organising this and thank you Tibetan Kitchen for a great lunch.More

Amazing food, Amazing food, Amazing food, decent ambience, also amazing food!

Tired from all the trek in the morning, I think we ended up ordering half the menu items. We started with the mutton momos which were amazing! The Thukpas and the spring rolls were great too. The best one however was the Grilled Himalayan Trout...which was one of the specials that day! All in all, the food was great! The service was swift. Really appreciate how they promptly accommodated us inside when it started raining despite the long queue of people waiting. Having said that, this isn't the restaurant if you're looking for great ambience. It is very homely and clean though. Also, Check for cute little puppies under the table before you take a seat :PMore

Improve your service attitude

Its a good restaurant and certainly a popular one but the service is rather poor. The waiters actually don’t care, and ignore you when you try to get there attention. Just that it’s one of the leh’s oldest restaurant they have crowd… there were small...insectS in the thoupa and and guess what the waiter said “ it’s normal in thoupa.. oder something else”. So you can decide for yourself to visit or to skip.. my advice skip.More

Worth it!

Great food in a local environment, friendly staff and good choice across Tibetan, Chinese and Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

The best place in Leh

Very fast and really tasty. The best restaurant to try local and tibetan food. It could be crowded here and open times is not very convenient but the taste of the food is amazing.

Awesome food with great ambience

It’s our first visit to any Tibetan restaurant. We all love the place and food. I first time try Veg Thenthuk, Thupka and they are awesome in taste. Also tried their steam momos and they are fantastic. Loved the place. Always go there with some...extra time because it’s very crowded.More

One of the best multi cuisine food joints in Leh. Very comfortable outdoors & close proximity to the market.

Food was good along with hygiene & service was quick. We tried both veg & non veg except for the Mutton which was tough rest was all good.

Local cuisine and a must go

Sumptuous food. We went there 4 of the 10 days we were in leh and were never disappointed. The best thupka in town. The mom’s were also really good

Foods are asum

Must try the Tibetan dishes especially the mutton dry shypta and thentuk. A must vist for asum foods.

Popular Culinary Delight!

Top rated Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, with just an ordinary ambience, but the Food is something to talk about . There is a bit of a waiting line so be advised to keep a time-margin . The senior couple amongst us was offered chairs as the dinner...wait was long , when we noticed that many eager clients had to be returned after Ten PM . All types of menu offerings were delectable & special mention of the rich overloaded sweet dish ‘Hello To Da Queen ‘ Superb prompt Service & a big thanks to Mr Langpa ( hope the spelling is correct) who takes the names for the Table-waiting Guests.More

Love love love this place!

We went there nearly daily for at least one meal! The momos are super yum and so is their thukpa and shapta !

Great momos!

Possibly the best momos I had while in Ladakh and I ate a lot of them during my stay! Big portion sizes, great taste and good service. Nice atmosphere. I think my favourite meal during my time in Leh.

Worst ever service ever seen

Worst ever service. Waited for 90 minutes for order but didn’t get even that. Then finally decided to leave the restaurant
