Lamayuru Restaurant is now set up in a garden opposite its previous location in Fort Road. The staff is efficient, the food always excellent and fresh , and the prices very reasonable compared to all the other places which have mushroomed all over Leh in the past few years. I have used Lamayuru Restaurant for the post 20 years without ever being disappointed. Now a great place to relax and enjoy some quiet in the garden, as well as the song of the stream nearby. Ideal if you want to avoid all the noise and commotion of main bazar now invaded by crowds of loud Indian tourists

A great restaurant to have food here. We took a parcel of Chicken Dopiyaza and Matar paneer along with Plain Rice and Butter Nan. All are excellent in taste. The ambience is very good. So we tried our next day dinner from here. Just try food here.

This is one restaurant to rave about particularly if you like Tibetan/ Chinese food. The chicken momos and their accompanying chili sauce were outstanding. Chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice were cooked just right and delicious. Hot and sour soup was marvelous. Chili chicken fry and chicken Manchurian gravy were awesome. It was also priced right. Total value for money. We went twice for dinner and the restaurant was packed to capacity each time. Happy

The variety of cuisines that were offered was good. Anything and everything that I ate was delicious. A fine blend of spices in the food, everything was very well balanced. Absolutely neat and clean. The waiting time for food is around 10 to 12 mins but it’s worth the wait. Hospitality is great. Extremely happy and satisfied.

We had veg and chicken Korey and veg and chicken chinese chopsuey. I loved everything but found the chicken ko they to be little disappointing. Also would hv loved it the quantity of chopsuey could be a bit more. Rest full marks to the staff, seating, quickness and taste of food. Do visit

Fantastic food and staff. Great prices and amazing quantity of food. The staff are really friendly and the fresh apricot juice was delightful. The restaurant is well located near the main market.. 5 minutes walk from main market. Must try restaurant in leh. Decor is simple but food is amazing

Change of scenery for the Lamayuru Restaurant, and not the least.
Great spot and in terms of cuisine, nothing to say, still excellent!!
Baingan Masala (eggplant) and Garlinc Naan... Mmmmmh!!!

Food was OK. Service was pathetic. The server gave wrong information on what the entree comes with, forcing us to order an extra side dish. Later refused to acknowledge the error.

Little wonders !
Looked to be a small hotel but the food server was so much tasty, we thought to eat on second day of our trip, but could not go, went on 5th day of our trip.
Excellent staff, simple to look but very much tasty food delivered within few minutes.
