A small outlet just a few steps around the corner from the mall road (on the Hadimba temple road), a young and enterprising Sardarji owner (Ishpreet) and you would think it should serve yummy butter chicken. On the contrary, the restaurant is only Vegetarian, and...serves some of the best kulcha - chole you can have. I can vouch for it as I have had the famed kulcha - chole in Amritsar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh. But this stuff (paneer kulcha with chole) in Manali was so good that we went back the next day for more. Minimalistic decor, extremely easy on the pocket, and great tasting veg food - that is wheat they are serving. We also tried paneer tikka, fried momos, masala chaap, malai chaap - all the dishes were very good with special mention for the paneer kulcha and chole. Ishpreet also told us that he does not use any artificial colours or food agents. And we could see that everything is freshly prepared in front of you. Their 1st outlet was opened in Mandi, followed by Kullu and Manali.More

We stumbled upon this place in our search for food. We planned to get a small thing to try from a number of places to try lots of things... but we ended up liking the food here so much that we ordered another dish and...then another and another - until we had tried everything on the menu and were absolutely stuffed! We stumbled across tasty bite looking for a snack but ended up ordering more and more chaap and naans until we were stuffed as they were sooo good. All vegetarian and delicious food. Would definitely recommend for a very reasonably priced and delicious meal.

Came across this place while heading towards another cafe.and stopped by just to have Soya chap. And finally ended with 4 types of chap and aloo and paneer kulcha and ended with paneer tikka. Each and every thing was just phenomenal and chap was just...awesome.. must try here..More

We came across this place by chance whilst in Manali and WOW weren't we lucky! Their soya chaap is some of the best food we've ever had (and we really like our food). They have a good menu with lots of amazing choices, the food...is served really quickly and the staff are lovely. I wish we'd come across it earlier so we could have gone again, we did have seconds though. We'll remember the food forever! (Also the dog was really cute!)More

AWESOME cute food cafe with tasty special paneer kulchey choley Masala Chaap. 1st time in my life to try this dish and it was amazing delicious. Tasty Bite is a very good place for having some refreshment. Food quality is good, self service and yummy food.

Normally I am a big meathead and always choose a non-veg dish, but here the vegetarian food is really good. We went here a few times and had multiple variations of chaap, the taste was super and almost as if we were eating meat. Many...other choices on the menu. Also the staff is nice and always in for a little chat. Go here if you stay in Manali, totally worth it!More
