What a wonderful little surprise it was for us...we were looking out for an outlet to enjoy local cuisine and have some peaceful time away from the hustle of Baga Goa...we ended up stopping at Adelaide Bar & Restaurant and it turned out to be...one of the best decision... The owners are so humble and they welcomed all our demands with a charming smile...that gave us the comfort that yes our decision was right... Such a lovely local cuisine and their homemade raw mango pickle was so amazing....we enjoyed every bit of it and had a great relaxing time... 5 stars to everything at Adelaide Bar & Restaurant...More

The food at the Adelaide is always good and the puddings are delicious. We have visited in a couple of previous years but now there is a big screen TV I, personally, would make sure I wasn't planning on visiting on an important football night....Luckily there were no notable games on the night we visited so we enjoyed ourselves, with our backs to the screen!More

Had two meals at this busy restaurant. The food, service and prices are all good. Everything we had to eat was well cooked, tasty and well presented Extensive menu with something for everyone. Recommended

We ate here once on our holiday, the worst meal we had. Started with crab soup, pieces of shell in the soup bread that came with the soup stale, ordered pork belly with layered potatoes absolutely awful, potatoes raw, pork belly the crackling was lovely...and crispy but the actual piece of pork has just horrible white fat. We did complain and was offered a sweet and coffee liquor on the house which we refused, just paid for our drinks and left will definitely not be returning.More

We didn't book but they had space on the tables at the front of the restaurant by the half fence that borders the road. The service was friendly and the food was very tasty - as I had a fish vindaloo, they checked that I...was ok with spicy food. The only problem was that as we were at the edge of the property, we first had a couple of cows boxing up against the fence next to us - they soon lost interest and were replaced by a begging woman who was joined by a begging child. When they lost interest there were a couple of stray dogs replacing them. All this doesn't help for a relaxing meal! I'm not that cold that I wouldn't have given the child or the woman something under different circumstances but not when I am eating. The cost was reasonable by our standards ( about 2500 rupees for dinner and drinks for two ). We would happily return as long as we don't sit on the tables at the edge.More

Prices are very reasonable. Soups start at 150, salads at 300 and other mains from about 400. Yes, they do take credit cards. As we usually go early (about 7.30) we've never had to book although it generally gets a bit... More
