This is a quiet homely place . Love the thukpas ... my favourite is the American Chop Suey - Himalaya style . Momos and the thali are good , Chinese food is Indo- Nepali style but tasty. Himalaya is quaint - it grows on you..., many locals frequent the place during weekends for dinner . Been here a couple of times , the family operating the place appear hospitable , welcoming and flexible . That is the reason why they have loyal guests and continue to have me returning every now and then .More

This Easter egg lies right outside the Taj village resort. Serves amazing food in a shack like ambience. The staff is extremely friendly. The service took about thirty minutes but the food was worth the wait.. one can always enjoy a couple of beers in...the meantime. Beware of the spices.More

We know the staff very well & we get great service & usually very fresh food. Occasionally, we have had not the freshest fish & I do get a bit disappointed as I thought it good business practice to look after regulars. Just say it's...finished rather then create a bad feeling. How would you like it?More

You certainly get your monies worth at this restaurant A fair way down the main road near the fort but it’s well worth the visit. Food quality is great and portion size very big and coupled with below average prices this is super value for...money. The service was good. Well worth a visitMore

A fabulous little restaurant with a very special menu. Booking advised although a bit quieter at lunchtime. Must try bean stew. Helpful friendly staff, they actually ran out of wine whilst we were there, but quite happy to go out and buy more supplies. Brilliant...atmosphere at night with lots of twinkly lightsMore

Turned right out of the O Hotel and had a wander and found this place. The vegetable pakoras and chicken and mushroom soup were absolutely fabulous. Well worth the walk and very lovely staff and service
