I have visited this beach cafe for a number of years now. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The owner and staff always friendly and helpful . Relaxed atmosphere, pool table and was always clean and tidy. Will be going back

It's a fantastic setting on the beach with beach front loungers and seating inside, however the food is cheap and very disappointing.

My review title says it all! there is one stand out shack from amongst the dozens of shacks dotted along the Candolim coastline. hygienic kitchen with properly trained chefs serving authentic non-shack food. not the most noteworthy feature is an atmospheric first floor viewing deck with panoramic views over the entire coastline. This is our first time in Goa and we found our way to this little shack on the beach. The service is great and all who looked after us were friendly and helpful. These guys gave us a menu with one price and later charged us different. Ine Heineken pint costed us 200 Rs. They do have hidden charges. Overall has been a bad experience. Be cautios while ordering

It was a wonderful experience to visit this shack on 31st eve. The crowd also was very good. A mixture of foreigner & Indians. Having not been long in town, we were advised to walk towards Candolim from our base in Calangute to find less crowded beach. Why we were drawn to Mama Cecilias, who knows.
