Thos was near our hotel and decided to visit after returning from a long day trip, food overpriced for the area, service was good, typical eaterie used by the ex pat community, ok if you like that sort of thing but not typical of the area in general.

The place is good and you will be welcomed with a natural drink. The guided tours of about one hour are arranged by the authorities. These tours give the complete information of how Indian spices are cultivated. There is a shop which sells these spices. The lunch is also included in the cost. The lunch was of average quality. Food... More

At the outset, I did not have much expectation about the place and thought it was another place to capitalize on the tourist surge. However, my perception turned wrong with the kind of warm welcome that was accorded with a tilak and garland, a welcome drink (warm tea) and some cheeselets. A guide takes us through the place in groups... More

We visited as a group of 5 and enjoyed the initial warm welcome and arrival drink. The tour around the Spice garden was fun and informative and we had the craziest tour guide (with the most amazing laugh), we did see people sitting on an elephant and having a "shower" which looked fun but we passed. The food was pretty... More

After taking the tour in the Spice Garden one is quite hungry and any food is welcome. The Spice Garden offered us a shot of Feni a local drink brewed by the garden.

The charges of rs 400 per person is very high for cold pav( without bhaji), poor quality rice, dal, cabbage vegetable, black dal with potatoes. No roti etc. All items are cold. Not recommended when going with kids. For kids carry own food.
