the food here is good. The quantity of food is sufficient per serving. One of the strange things is that they charge for raita with Biryani separately and sauces with Tandoori chicken. It is unlike any other Punjabi restaurant. The staff are not very enthusiastic, they do not have passion to serve the customer. I compare this to Northern Tadka of Mumbai, where staff are very enthusiastic and smiling all the times. I will recommend for tastes and ambience. Thumbs down for customer service.

Don’t bother about reviews saying anything bad about this place. Frankly this is a North Indian restaurant serving North Indian food. Not the Mumbai type Mughlai food where butter chicken is (Shudder) sweet! And the dal makhni bloody yellow! 🤮🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ It is also a non veg restaurant and like any non veg speciality restaurant, Paneer etc will not be its forte. Go elsewhere for veg food! I had fish, prawns and mutton. The fish and prawns were absolutely fresh and well cooked. Really enjoyed. The mutton rogan josh though was a bit tough but the gravy and the dish overall was ok. This needs improvement. The ambiance and atmosphere is festive and joyful. A must visit when in or near Daman.

Had a meal here during my Daman trip. The dhaba is shaped inside a fort-like building on the ground floor. It's a massive area and well decorated. Seating options also include the traditional khatiya/bed where you can lounge around waiting for your next meal course or just pass out for a while. Service is quick and very friendly. Suggestions made by staff are worth a try definitely. We had the egg pakoda, Chicken hara bhara kebab (green) and Prawns masala with roti and naan. Top all the food with a beer and you feel like great. Good preparation with a decent presentation - it's a dhaba so they serve in a basic way. Damage was 1100 for two. Worth a meal for sure.

We ordered their special Punjabi Paneer. It was so spicy we couldn't eat. On top of that paneer was very hard, not easy to chew. None of the waiters or any staff was wearing masks. Total unsanitary and dissatisfactory experience..

Crowded and over hyped restaurant. It takes one hour to get seating. People come to this place, perhaps as it serves with live music, though singer sings well and 2 marks belong to him only. The food quality is not good at all. We ordered kadai paneer, veg Manchurian, naan but none of them was good to the taste and had to leave without finishing the food.

I am a regular visitor to Daman , I go for two days in a month. And I always prefer having lunch at Veera da dhaba. I am foodie so I used to go to this restaurant from the beginning. The way they have built theor new restaurant is really awesome. You will feel.like mini Punjab. The quality and taste of food is really very tasty. As per earlier rates are increased but quantity is same. The restaurant manager should work on increasing the quantity. I felt lavish Desi hospitality to this restaurant. Need to train some of the captains who are wearing black shirts , there attitude is like they are the owners. But Mr. Patel the steward served us like we are Kings loved it. Mr. Patel made my lunch complete. Lovely service and outstanding hospitality by Patel. Thanks and regards Neel Modi 9033151083

I have been a regular visitor of the place since the last more than 10 years and have seen them grow from a small restaurant to a much much bigger place as of today. The new premises is wonderful with a lot of parking space and space for visitors. It is only because of the leisure provided and the excellent service and hospitality of the staff there. One can go there with family and spend a lot of time without being disturbed. Beds have been provided for those who want to lie down. Food is excellent in a vast variety of items. It is a MUST VISIT place once you are in Daman.

This place specializes in Punjabi food and culture. Range and quality of dishes is very good. The place is very big and can cater to large number of customers, with large parking area. Restaurant area is very well spread out and not cramped. There are activities for children and they will love the place. Pets are allowed. The ambience has been made focusing on Punjabi culture. Overall a very good experience.

We had two boneless chicken gravy dishes with butter roties. The food was delicious and service was prompt. The staff is courteous and the dhaba is very clean. You are greeted by a smiling sardar at the entrance giving a good and homely feel. A place with visiting again

This is my favourite restaurant in Daman. Everything is exemplary here, right from the Food, the ambience and the service. Visited it after a long time in September 2021 and was expecting below par experience given the COVID situation. However I was pleasantly surprised as the dhaba had maintained its standards even in these difficult times. Kudos to the management of this establishment. The place was packed even on a monday night which goes to show that if you do things right people will come to you. Period.

Food was poor & expensive. Ordered Paneer butter masala, rumali roti, tandoori aloo, dal kichadi. Paneer was very avg. 1/5 other items were 3/5 Bill was approx 1500 for 2 adults & 2 kids. Ambience & cleanliness was good but waiters looked tired & disinterested. Overall an OK place, go with minimum expectations

The ambience is great. However I am frequenting this joint since 1992. The taste since 1992 has deteriorated. Even the Punjabi Cuisine which was earlier genuine and had the taste of Punjab is just missing. The dal Makhani was so bland without garnishing and butter and was tasteless. the methi mutter malai was equally bland with no taste whatsoever. So sad to miss out on authentic taste. Seems that commercialization has affected the quality or may be the management is not able to cope up with the rush of people anticipating authentic punjabi food..... Hope they work towards regaining their early glory

We ordered Paneer Masala, it was so sweet, we complained. Received very rude answer - this is our way of making, you have to accept. Couldn't differntiate between Kulcha and Nan. While making payment, no cards are accepted, only Cash. I doubt they are not showing in GST, though GST is collected. Would not wish to visit next time.

This is one of the must visit place in Daman. The ambient is very good. Feels like visiting a Punjabi Village. The Punjabi food served are very authentic. I enjoyed the " Makai ke Roti & Sarson ka sag" here. A lot of full size statues of Punjabi folks in the traditional dress is kept to get a feel of Punjab. All and all a good Lunch experiance.
