First time staying at Cama hotel. Headed out for lunch but seeing nothing much around except CCD half heartedly entered the hotel restaurant Punchin and was pleasantly surprised. We were the only couple three initially but gradually and slowly people trickled in. We ordered a...glass of lime soda and camcooler ...wow great taste. For starter we ordered tandoori chicken and then for main course a mushroom dish with naan. Tandoori chicken was a tad expensive at 400+ for half small chicken but really tasty. For us it was good amount as we're only two and staying at hotel don't want to pack. But the price could have been a tad less. The mushroom gravy and naan were fabulous...we were really satisfied The service was spot on. Waiters houring around all the time asking for what we need. We liked the food and it exceeded our expectations!More

Well this is one the best place where we have been in Chandigarh. Went in there for dinner with my friends and have to admit everything from ambience, staff, service and food is absolutely perfect. A must must try.

I went there with two of my friends (Special Occasion). Overall I found the service, food and atmosphere to be excellent. Between us, we sampled the Paneer Lababdar (mouth watering name), Naan, Dal Makhani, Diced Chicken Hong Kong Style and Fried Rice. We all agreed...the food was excellent as was the Falooda Kulfi. Our waiter was attentive, friendly but not intrusive. I would go more often and definitely recommend.More

My wife and I had a dinner and a lunch at Pun Chin while staying at the Hotel Cama on business. We are from US and travel frequently on business to India the last 13 years so have eaten in many resturants including those at...some of the best hotels in Delhi. These meals were among the best we have had, we both agree. Dinner was a young family there treated us as they lived close and were very glad for our visit. They helped us order family style and every dish was very tasty. I confess I was eating light after having some challenges at previous hotel in another city but so glad to have good food. The staff was very helpful as our friends had 3-month old baby. When the baby was fussy the staff took our friend and her baby to our room for feeding. The second day I hosted lunch for 9 friends as part of my business reason for being there. The staff was very helpful for our large group of 11 and service was excellent. We ordered family style dishes so there was a lot of variety on the table and everything I tasted was very good. All those who came said the food was very good and this was one of the best restaurants in the area. They are all Indian so know what they are speaking about. If both Indians and western folks are happy it is a very good place to eat I have found. I have highly recommended the hotel as we were staying there also, but if you don't stay at the Hotel Cama and are looking for an excellent dinning experience while visiting Chandigarh/Mohali this is well worth a taxi ride.More
