If you go to this place, the first thing that hits you is the terrible ventilation. Every single visit of mine has led to burning and watering eyes. And the management seems to be nonchalant. The food once used to be superb! Its terrible. The...service sucks big time.More
I ordered crispy mushroom but the dish was very soggy i told the captain that the dish was not as the previous time i had it he took it back and came back with even more sogginess i again told the captain that it is...worse than you gave it before soo he came with a new dish which was crispy veg i said okay i ate it at the time of bill i had been charged for both i asked the hostess to check my bill again she said it is right sir i paid the bill . And came back there manager was not there i asked for his contact number as i am a regular visitor of the restaurant but they refused to gave it to me soo i am writing this review because if i had a good experience 10 times and if i had a bad one only for once ill prefer to visit some other branch for the next time or wont visit the restaurant again because of the bad service and only 3 tables were there at that time . This was my second visit to this Restaurant... and it was a regrettable one... To be frank, the food was good, however the overall experience was awful.... Firstly, being a weekend there was a waiting period, which is understandable..., however once seated inside the restaurant,...the service should be prompt; which was not the case... After a lot of waiting, the Captain did come with the Menu, however, it took an awful lot of time to get the soup... That too we ordered for 1/2 but they didn't divide the portion. When we asked for the same, they kept an empty bowl as if suggesting to divide it ourselves.... In fact they forgot the order for dimsums and had to be reminded twice for the order. Meanwhile we also ordered a drink, which was not served for close to 45mins.... Main course was no different.... We had ordered a rice based dish and another vegetable based dish. They brought the vegetable first without rice. When we told them to serve both the dishes together and to serve the dimsum first, they were reluctant in taking back the vegetable and serve it warm alonwith rice. By this time they served the dimsum. Once they served the main course, i.e. rice and veg... we found that there was a dead fly in the rice. We asked for the Captain who took the order but he did not turn up.... we had to ask the waiter to change our order.... The revised order took almost 45 mins to be served... Meanwhile, the manager (not the captain) did offer a discount probably to cover up for the "dead fly", however, the entire experience was a forgettable and regrettable one... I must admit that the variety and taste of the food is good, however, the service is pathetic. Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars, hence putting 1 star. Overrated is the one in sector chandigarh, Mussourie outlet is the best one. Very oily food n slow service. Plus you end up waiting a lot
Had heard good things about this restaurant hence visited it for lunch . The place was like an oven as the Air conditioners were not operational . The management was helpless and there were not enough pedestal fans . Ultimately they opened the doors of...the restaurant for fresh air . Good was nice and do was the service . One goes out for lunch to relax and enjoy both not achieved due high temp in the restaurant. Hope the management does something about thisMore
Have been to this joint twice already. Didn't post a review as I forgot to click pics amidst the water drooling & lip smacking food that was plonked on my table. This time I was more conscious & was in control over my hogging mode...& hence managed to click few. The food is mind boggling, ambience is pleasing & staff is warming. Overall a near perfect Chinese food joint to satiate your cravings for the chinese cuisine. A brief update on what all I ordered from their menu :- - Kalsang Special Mixed Meat Noodles : A mix of meats there. Chicken, pork, mutton, egg & vegetables sauted together with medium spices. Full of flavours & tasted perfect. Portion size was pretty adequate. I loved it. You can try this without a shadow of doubt. - Chilli Chicken (Dry) : My wife wanted to try something safe & generic. Hence, we ordered this & glad that we did. Just the right flavours there. Chunks of chicken with diced capsicum, spring onions & near perfect sauces. You wont go wrong with this. - Chilli Prawns in Hunan Style : Must appreciate the portion size, especially the size of prawns. The prawns were crispy & coated with subtle batter. Immensely flavourful. Very juicy indeed. Delicious & value for money. Overall a I loved the whole experience of dining here. Staff was extremely courteous. We went on Sunday evening & hence it was crowded. You might have to wait for somwtime, if you ain't an early bird. A must try food joint for one & all. If oriental food rocks your boat , you’ve found the right place ! For a K drama fan , the Korean food was bang on 😍The Thupka bowl was the most wholesome , soul satisfying bowl I’ve had in a while …massive portion though .....Everything we ordered-from the pork momos, to the salt and pepper prawns to the Korean Rice bowl and the jjamgmyeon & a few standard dishes had their own special aroma and distinct flavour . Quick service , reasonably priced , neat and clean … You can overlook the slightly loud decor and the uncomfortable seating because the food is to die for !More
