A good vegetarian restaurant

Being strict vegetarians, my wife and I had our lunch at Heritage Restaurant at Visakhapatnam which has both wings separately for vegetarian food and non vegetarian food. The veg thali was sumptuous and the quality of a good standard. Service was quick and good. Ambience was also good.

EATING EXPERIENCE CAN BE BETTER

Visited the RESTRA ( veg section called Heritage ) twice since we were shopping in that area. The snacks ( Puri and Aloo sabjee ) on one day and the Thali lunch next day was good and tasty . The service was also very good however the ambience can be improved drastically. It appears the Restra of the famous Daspalla group is being neglected. The clealiness was also below average. A eating joint has to be constantly cleaned since guest with different food habits n cultural background are bound to litter the place. Right at the entrance a used water bottle was lying on the floor and being watched by all the waiters. I nspite of my pointing it out to them, it remained there since no one bothered to lift it from there. The management must look into this cleanliness and hygiene aspect since there are better eating joints around. Even the lighting needs to be improved. Over all a so so eating experience

Excellent atmosphere, great cuisine, curious service , a family place for lunch dinner or a kitty party . Many business meetings are often seen were finer aspects of deals or contracts ironed out over a coffee and snack, old boys get together , alumin cheers A regular coffee hole and tiffen haven for the retired , or singles , many a senior citizens with children abroad , this is an equality of a socialing club. All happens under a friendly gaze and warm empathies of a wise and wonderful management. This reminds of A hotel in Gandhinagar of Vijayawada of the yore , his names still rings in the ears and hearts of many as BABAI, Even here we have new avatar of him Nice guy . He is and makes heritage the Tycoon it is.

Delicious vegetarian food

It is a pure vegetarian restaurant located near valtair main road, managed by famous Daspalla hotel. Great ambience, Excellent vegetarian food like idli, Dosa, upma etc. Vegetarian thali is very good and serves full course meal. Filter coffee is also very good. Pure vegetarian lovers , best place to visit

I was staying 10 day every day 3 times having your restaurant but service is good every time asking tip I am not satisfies they asking forcefully next visit no response giving you are stop front of the management and online order also I was give not proper packing example order tea without clothes is send order the Lunch without spoon plate send

Good food but terrible service!!

6 adults and 3 hungry kids were made to wait for 45 minutes to get soup!! Another 20 minutes to get roti-dal and a thali!! Wonder what was wrong, because other customers who came later than us were served much before us. The thali was not very great. The experience was definitely poor and the wait was frustrating!!

Love the way their crispy onion rava dosa is served. It is a treat to the taste buds, had it many times there and would love to mention them on this review. The place is located near siripuram and end of VIP road making it reachable in all ways. the parking space is not that great but decent, u can get to park your car if u are there during non peak hours.

We been der for eve @9, while ordering they refused to take our orders saying the kitchen is closed by 9pm on 16.10.19 at 9 12 ...so unwillingly took idly for my family as they were hungry...being a #FAMILYMAN, didnt want to argue vth them. THEY ARE TOO ADAMANT ...TO THE CORE !!!! PATHETIC

A busy unorganized place serving tasty food

It was a Sunday afternoon. The place was nearly full. There were a lot of servers and other staff. Someone took our order, and there were 2 or 3 people who placed and removed stuff on/from our table before anything was served, and there were others who were floating around. There was no orderly execution. We get our food first and then the water followed by fryum munchies and then some salad. All staff were polite, but they had no clue what they were doing and what was expected of them. It probably points to lack of training and capable floor management. They could also use some hygienic best practices. Food was OK, but not the overall experience.
