Large portions, refuses credit cards yet adds on "taxes" of 14%. Owner served us yet added additional 10% tip. My individual pizza was $11 on menu but he wanted me to pay $24!!!! Tried to cheat us! Very expensive with the extra 24%. (Lunch for 3, no alcohol was $53.08.) Pizza is good but you should be careful with the... More

We were craving a pizza and La Dolce Italia was great. We enjoyed our food and the waiter/owner was exceeding friendly. You can tell the enthusiasm and the pride. It was fun.

After a long cruise I decided to get some pizza. The place looked cute and the waiter promised us that they were making all their food fresh (even the sause). Sounded good- but the pace couldn't deliver. The pizza Caprese was sluggish with little taste. Not crusty as expected or imagined from an italian restaurant. My girfriends spaghetti were ok... More

One of the fellows (in our group )decided he had to have the pesto pizza on our last night here. Foolishly we agreed . Three people ordered the pesto pizza. A couple people ordered salads with their pizza. A couple ordered different pizzas and I ordered the penne arrabiata. The waiter got the fellow who had to have the pesto... More

Ordered two pizzas and they were ok. Quite big so we took the rest with us and ate it for lunch the next day (have to say it tasted better cold the next day, but maybe that's just me!). The man who owns? but waited on us very nice, but alone, so seemed quite busy, it took quite awhile to... More

My husband and I got takeout from here the other day, and it was huge! We thought the calzones would be enough for one person each, but it was big enough to share between two or three people! The staff were very friendly, but it took more than 20 minutes to get our food, which I thought was a bit... More

We saw that they served paella and so ordered it. I have to admit that this was the best paella we have eaten making the one served at Jaleo, the highly rated restaurant in Washington DC look like a poor cousin. We have traveled over 100,000 miles a year for the last 12 years, and have eaten paella in several... More

This restauraunt was pretty bad. I was starving and I liked Italian food, so I chose to go to this restauraunt. We ordered food but it took a very long time to wait so I started to get mad. Finally when the waiter served us the food, I got my tomato pasta. I started eating but it was too salty.... More

The owner/waiter was the highlight of our visit to this restaurant. My wife was having stomach problems and needed something familiar to eat so spaghetti was the call, thus an Italian restaurant in a Spanish country. I had a pizza and it was good but nothing to write home about. What I did not like was getting the bill and... More

the pizzas are very big and priced to match - no one was able to finish theirs so we should have shared. The bases were a bit doughy. Service is great. Dinner for three was about $80 so we won't be back.
