We just visited the Palm and our experience was excellent. To begin with, I loved our cocktails. They were made to perfection. Our appetizers were great, and our steaks were absolutely delicious. Our server really went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied, and that our appetizers and dinners were timed just right. Yes, it is pricey, but I don’t mind paying more for a dinner that is so enjoyable.

Went here supposedly on a comp from the casino that was told was never on my card thought manager fixed it but charged to my room and did not tell me that luckily i checked my room bill or i would of got charged tye entire bill. Had to call casino host next morning to fix it which should of been explained by manager what was happening and what i had to do almost like i was lying to him about comp. Food was good 48 oz porterhouse tho as a special for 135.00 is not worth the value. The 36 oz feeds 2 to 3 carved at table was better priced should of got 2 of those instead of 1 if each for 5 guys. The best part was the waiter i dont remember his name but was very knowledgeable and spot on with service very professional. Thats the only reason im giving 4 stars if it wasnt for him 2 stars due to manager not explaining what he did when i was under the impression he found the comp and told me everything was allset. Very poor

Upon checking in for our reservation, we were seated within seconds by the very nice hostess. Our server, Daniel, was extremely attentive and service was with a smile. I had the baked clams appetizer which I found disappointing. The clams were as small as dimes and the bland breading was overwhelming. After eating 3 of them I just took off the breading from the rest and ate the very tiny clams. Our dinner turned out much better. The filet mignons were cooked to perfection and even though my order of surf and turf came with a petite lobster tail I found it to be a really nice size. The fries and creamed spinach were both outstanding. The dinner, wine and service were all very good. Prices are up there but compared to other steakhouses they really aren't out of range. We come here a few times a year and always enjoy the experience.

Too expensive! … I am not a cheep’o, preferring to dine at higher-end establishment, and couldn’t care about what it costs. Dinner for two, no alcohol: $270 with a 20% tip! Service was 8/10, and the food (an $80 and $90 steak, complimented with a 1/2 dozen Oysters, FF, dessert for one only, and two soft drinks)…my steak was “cold” and so was my sons! FF sucked and dessert was a 5/10 cream brûlée. Would have been better if we just had two burgers! Waitress was awesome, yet s little slow sometimes. The best part was I could scan my check and pay on my phone. Otherwise, I’ll never be there again, not for dinner anyway. PS: post COVID I can’t get a good steak dinner any more. Gordon Ramsey, another $1,000 dinner, was no better! I’d rate them both equally: too pricy for what you get with marginal service… and that’s the new status quo. Lower your expectations, pay and shut up. Otherwise, enjoy your burgers. PSS: if a picture paints a thousand words… see our photo

EXTREMELY loud. EXTREMELY over priced. Trying to survive off of an old reputation. $63 for a steak that was not cooked the way I ordered. I ordered medium well and received medium rare, I told the waiter and he said, "I put it in as medium well, not sure what happened". $17 for lobster bisque soup that was not hot. $16 for scalloped potatoes that were burnt. Asked for a coke and when it was empty I asked for a refill and they brought me water! I asked for another coke and never got it. $96 plus tax and tip for setting in a loud restaurant with poorly prepared food and very poor service.

We encountered none of the problems complained of in the reviews (sometime one wonders whether that's just from the competition). Service, food, and atmosphere all excellent to good in that order. I personally (not being on an expense account) avoid entrees that start with a 6 or 7, but there is plenty of value in the 3s on the menu. I had veal parm; ponded perfectly (and this trip somewhat better than the chicken parm). Lively without being noisy; book a little earlier in the eve; ask for a booth as opposed to a table in the middle.

We went with another couple and both got the surf and turf special. That was a 4lb lobster, filet and each got an appetizer and one family style side and both got dessert. Everything was delicious. We had a wonderful time. Our server Susan was helpful and attentive.

We had a 5 pm Saturday reservation and arrived to be nicely greeted and seated within 5 minutes. We loved the social distancing in the restaurant -- it was nice and private not having anyone sitting right next to us. Our waiter, Rich, was excellent in every way and his service and great attitude made the meal even better. Our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and the fries and creamed spinach sides were really tasty.

My husband and I went there for Thanksgiving dinner. The meal was not good from start to finish. First, the soups were cold. We sent them back and they still were not hot. Next, The Turkey dinner came out Luke warm. It was supposed to include white and dark meat. It included a couple of slices of white meat and a piece of dark fat. To cap it off, they gave a choice of cheesecake or chocolate pecan pie for dessert. After ordering, they came back and told us there was an up charge of $5 for the cheesecake! For $60 per person, that was a chintzy thing to do. We’ve been to the palm many times, and have never had such an awful experience.

I am a Landry Club member have been to The Palm in AC three times now and the other night I had the worst steak I've ever had. Let's face it the the place is not cheap. The steak was a filet and the center was cooked appropriately but the outside was charred so much as to be burnt: tough to even cut. And I saw the lady next to me: her steak was the same way and they didn't even give her a steak knife! Nor sure where there original chef was.

This was my 4th visit to the Palm. It has always been great. I brought 3 business clients. I was telling them for weeks about how great the place was. Well it was disappointing. The service was not good at all. It took a long time for the appetizers to arrive. Then the steaks came out 5 minutes later. We asked the waiter why they brought them out and was told because they were done. I ordered my steak rare and it was well done. Waiter told me that they can bring another but it will take some time. I told him to forget it we do not have time to wait for another. We ate the appetizers so quick because we wanted to eat the steaks while they were warm. We did not enjoy anything. $800 bill and we were disappointed. 3 times it was spot on and this time terrible. We are supposed to be going back with a party of 12-15 in a few weeks and now I am looking to go somewhere else.

Came here recently Sunday for dinner—had prior reservations so we were seated right away in a nice comfy booth. Food was amazing!! I’ve been to other locations but this one was the best. For starters, the Steakhouse Wedge Salad was excellent—the dressing was a light but sweet vinaigrette of some sort, it was so good. For entrees, both the Kagoshima A5 Wagyu New York Strip ($129) and The Palm Duo (center cut filet and lobster tail $99) were great. The sides, Creamed Spinach and Loaded Baked Potato were good too—and portions are pretty generous. For cocktails, we enjoyed their Palm Star Martini ($17) and Hendricks Gin Martini ($20)—we got two rounds! And you can use your Caesars comps here, just not for tip.

We’re Landry Select Members, and before that Palm 837, so we know these restaurants. We have always liked the AC Palm. Last night was excellent. Loved the new Oyster Plate…..a combo of fried oysters on creamed spinach, and roasted oysters; kind of like Rockefeller. Perfectly cooked bone-in filet mignon; excellent creamed spinach, sauteed mushrooms and au gratin potatoes. Excellent service. Nice bartenders.

Restaurant was clean and well staffed. Staff was friendly and outgoing. Food was good with large portions .... chicken parm was a big as a dinner plate. Although very nice ... nothing was that spectacular to equal the price.
