We drove from Portland, Maine to Atlantic City for a few days of R&R, then it was off to visit Seton Hall for our son's college visit. After driving all day on Father's Day, I wanted my husband to enjoy a good meal and when looking online, I heard nothing but rave reviews about Capriccio's on the Boardwalk. I made reservations and after a few hours resting up in our hotel, we headed to the restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant; upon walking in, we passed a large well-stocked bar and a very friendly gentleman who was making drinks. We were led to our large booth facing the water. We were immediately asked what type of water we wanted; another server (Wiston) took our drink order. Hubby's classic gin martini was strong and my Prosecco was one of the better tasting I've had. We also were served by Steve who was "all business". The menu was medium sized but offered a good variety of Italian favorites. We opted for a make-your-own antipasto. My husband ordered the lobster bisque and lobster ravioli. I ordered the lobster bisque and the filet mignon. You can choose a side for an additional cost; I opted for the Tuscan fingerling potatoes. Our son chose the chicken marsala which came with spaghetti. All of our meals, including the bisque were well portioned and delicious. A handful of other patrons were celebrating birthdays as the singing and clapping came often. The dessert menu (all were $11 each) included 7 different items I believe. We shared the vanilla souffle as well as a slice of peanut butter cannoli cake. DELICIOUS !! We spent almost 2 hours from beginning to end; we never felt rushed. The service was great, especially Wiston and we even got Steve to loosen up by the time we left! A bit pricey, but worth it especially if celebrating any occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to delicious Italian fare.

On recent trip we stayed at a famous AC casino/hotel which had no dinning options open even though all other places were running full function. Looked around for a good sit down place and found this gem in ResortsAC casino. Went there for dinner with family and was wowed from the moment we stepped in! Gorgeous decor transported us to someplace else, didn’t feel like the “casino” at all. We requested outdoor seating which I highly recommend. It is overlooking the boardwalk & steel pier. One could spend hours just sitting there and enjoying a drink while taking in the soothing sound of the waves crashing onshore, listening to the sounds of people and music of rides from the pier. The server, Cynthia, was amazing! From the get go, she guided us in selecting food, drinks, desserts et al. We ordered quite a few things and polished them all! Burrata toast, salad, crispy egg plant, gnocchi, meatballs were all perfectly made and delectable. Then came the chocolate soufflé….oh my! Cynthia, again to the rescue - she put it together for us mixing in cream, fresh berries and needless to say, we wolfed it all down! I can go on, but in summary, highly recommend this place and if you go there, ask for Cynthia, she will take good care of you!

We stopped back after hearing our favorite place had re-opened. Sad to say, but not surprising, no tables were open, due to co-vid restrictions. We gladly accepted a place at the bar which had open seats. The bartender Zlatko, was neat and courteous. Usually a bartender isn’t as efficient as a trained server, but this guy was “spot on”. Our meals came out hot, and were fabulous as usual. Zlatko made some great wine recommendations to go with our meals. Following dinner, “Z” as they call him, whipped us up some cocktails I never heard of, which were out of this world. I now wish I could remember the names of them, but we will definitely return to try more of these awesome cocktails. The food is a little pricey, but the service makes it all well worth going. We will return time and again. Kudos to the host up front as well, for getting us seated, although I didn’t catch her name. Overall a five star restaurant experience with service we won’t soon forget.

This restaurant definitely has its loyal clientele but we were less than impressed on our visit there. The hostess attempted to be friendly but was rushed and harried. In fact, the service throughout could be described as friendly, but harried. The food is not true Italian but more on the level of an Olive Garden. We have traveled extensively throughout Italy over the past 20 years and are also well versed in Italian, as well as Italian-American cuisine. Veal piccata is not, repeat is NOT served over spaghetti. Ever. Saltimbocca is served with spinach- not asparagus. Again, this too should not be served over spaghetti. Pasta is its own dinner course. Rice or roasted potatoes would have been a better choice. The sauces over both meals are mass produced and bland and gummy. The veal was tough and chewy. Could have used a good pounding to help tenderize the cut of meat they used. There is a butter knife at your place setting but they didn't serve butter. Instead a server came around and poured olive oil into our butter dishes. Missing was the cracked black pepper or red pepper flakes that are a usual accompaniment to this. A few olives would have been a welcome addition. The bread as okay- nothing spectacular. The entire meal was pretty much just okay. Edible but nothing special. And certainly not authentic. If you're a foodie, stay away. It's definitely not anything like people hype it's up to be.

We had dinner at Capriccio's and it was a great experience. We were warmly welcomed by Elvie and escorted to our table by Joe. They are both very friendly and professional. We were served by Jose, Gerardo and Albiero and they did a great job. They catered to our every need and they could not do enough for us. They made sure we had a very nice dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The food's temperature was perfect. We were also greeted by Kit, Luis, Joe, Oscar, Wiston, Sergio, Jamie, Steve, William, Joe, Alberto, Bob, Ulysses and Ray during our visit. Capriccio's has an extremely friendly and caring staff, who really want you to have a great dining experience. Chef Lisa and Chef David go out of their way to prepare food for anyone with dietary restrictions. They are both very friendly and approachable too. Keep up the great work!

First time here after dozens of trips to tow. Had heard many good things about it so, finally decided to try. Entree specials included surf and turf for a mere seventy dollars. It sounded like a must try and was fabulous. Spouse decided on the linguine and clams in red sauce which was also incomparable. Service was spot on also. One minor problem was cashing out as system wouldn’t process any of several cards. Not a huge problem paying cash but, still a minor glitch. Can’t wait to return and recommend very highly.

The brunch is $55 a person but but is it worth it. The food is absolutely spectacular. How do I describe this? Like this: shrimp, crab, scallops, mussels, pizza, prime rib, lamb chops, chicken, waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, sable, an omelet station, fried rice, general tao’s chicken, pasta, and a dessert table and ice cream that is spectacular. Go there and enjoy. By the way the view of the Atlantic Ocean is wonderful as is the attentive service.

I had an amazing dinner here with my wife and sister in law. From the moment we walked in and we were greeted by the Maitre d’ through the entire meal, and all the way to the last bite and our goodbyes was impressive to say the least. We weren’t just treated like guests, we were treated like family. The service team of Jose V and Genaro made our experience memorable with their warm and friendly personalities and top notch service, as well as their knowledge of the menu. Every single dish that came to the table was delightful and delicious. We were so impressed by the originality and care that each dish was prepared with, and presented to us. I had the veal chop and my wife the sea bass. Every appetizer. Salad and side was delicious. Kudos to Chef David Wong! We went to thank the entire team for their hard work and service and we cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of having dinner at Capriccio. From the moment we arrived we felt like family. The staff is amazing! They each play off each other in a way that makes the service seamless. Each server was warm and friendly, making sure we had all we needed. Even though indoor dining is at 50% capacity we never felt rushed or like we had overstayed our welcome. The food here is incredible we thoroughly enjoyed all the different items we ordered and will definitely be back to enjoy the experience here again very soon. If you are staying at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City or are just in Atlantic City you should seriously consider coming to experience superior service and food for yourself. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would.

We came to town for a little relaxation. Stayed at Resorts Hotel and Casino and had the pleasure of dining at Capriccio’s located in the hotel. There we were served a seafood appetizer of fried with hot peppers and red sauce. We ordered the steaks, a filet mignon and a NY strip, both cooked to perfection with mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. The best part of the dinner was that we were fortunate to have been served by the three Amigo’s, Genaro, Jose V and Alberto, who assured our glasses were filled with water and table was cleared or packed with leftovers. They were terrific and you should ask for them if you decide to dine here. A great experience. Something you won’t want to miss on your trip to ATLANTIC CITY.

Was attracted by the high reviews & rating for great food (and nice service). Experience was unbelievable poor & big disappointment! Had chicken parmigiana with pasta, was level of a second rate diner at a price of $46. Pasta was brought luke warm, had to send back. The sauce could have come from a mediocre supermarket jar. The chicken was one barely medium size thin breast, breaded — breading not crisp, chicken tasteless — seemed almost like re-heated food. Would never return and strongly recommend to Go Somewhere Else!

After several good experiences, this will be our last visit for awhile. Some of the food was excellent, but the service is not what it once was. There is little to no communication between the multiple waiters. We waited 10 minutes after being seated to be offered beverages. Not a huge deal, but we asked for a wine menu and within 30 seconds of getting the wine list a different waiter came off with pad in hand asking if we were ready to order our food. We had to ask him about specials or would not have been told of them, and when we were told the specials one was not described properly vs. what was later received. Although we told this to the person delivering the food, this was never communicated to our waiter and there was no offer to exchange it or apology for the error. We waited 30 mins between appetizers and our entrees and received over cooked entries that had clearly been under the heat lamp for way to long. I am always reluctant to send food back, but one meal was actually so dry as to be inedible. Not a good night.

My girlfriend and I came here this past Sunday for dinner and everything was AMAZING! We initially came here for a friend's birthday about 2-3 weeks prior and wanted to come back for a more intimate experience. The waiter that took our order this visit though didn't seem so pleasant. When ordering, considering it is an Italian restaurant, I figured I'd take a shot at the Italian pronunciations of what I was ordering. I got myself the Filetto Di Manzo (Filet Mignon), my girlfriend ordered the Ravioli Di Aragosta (Lobster Ravioli), and Patate Fritte All’erbe (French Fries w/ parm & fresh herbs) to share. This time around the lobster ravioli was not as fresh as last time, but we're hopeful that in our next visit the cooking staff will have stepped up their game. When asking about the french fries we just wanted to make sure they were normal cut fries and not the 4 piece wedges we had seen pictured in another review. The waiter's response seemed very snarky, which wasn't professional at all as he scoffed in attempts to make us feel dumb. More importantly, this individual rarely checked in on us throughout our meal. Perhaps a bad day or just couldn't wait to get home? We've all been there so I tried not to take his demeanor to heart. I was pleased though with the rest of the team making us feel comfortable. Despite this minor discrepancy, check-in with Elvie and the attention by Jose & Albeiro was more than enough to get my girlfriend and me to come again! Thanks again to Tita Elvie, to the primos Jose & Albeiro, and especially to the Manager, Joe(if you are reading this, my deepest apologies as I forgot to write your name down)! We will definitely be back!

Horrible experience tonight. Lousy service from the minute we were seated. My wife is allergic to crab. We were never asked about food allergies. She ordered a steak special with mushroom risotto. It comes out with crabmeat. No apologies and my son was nice enough to switch with her. Only to cut into the steak and it was completely brown and dried out. It had to go back to be cooked again. Overall it took almost 2 hours for appetizers and dinner which is excessive given the horrible quality of food and service. We ordered soufflés with our dinner and when we were ready for desert the waiter forgot to place the order. We never received it sorry or had the manager come to the table. Overall a horrible way to spend $310.

Arrived early for a reso, was told no tables available (dining room half full) Told to sit at the bar where we were greeted by a clearly weeded bartender who was kind but should have ask for help. 20 minutes to get a menu and glass of wine. Asked for water three different times. Never received it. I asked about specials on the menu to which she was not happy to show the deal they had for restaurant week so we ate off the regular menu. A Caesar salad came out literally 51 minutes into us sitting down at the bar. Which we asked for an app. And this salad had absolutely not one pinch of salt or seasoning. Plain lettuce At this point it's been over an hour and I questioned about how much longer for one Veal Parmesan I was told was amazing. Grabbed a manager and they had no Veal Parmigiana working yet. I had to ask 4 times for the soufflé flavors since you need to order at the beginning of the meal. I gave up after asking so many times. What a shame. Horrible service and food. We left before we got the dinner cause at this point 2 hours of sitting waiting for a party of 2 is completely unnecessary. I highly advise to skip this restaurant.
