Went to Johnny Rockets around 6PM. They were already out of pork. The bottled sodas were 4 dollars, a lil steep. The girl waiting on us did not speak much English and did not know the menu even though there are only a few items...on it. After convincing her that they do indeed sell chicken cutlet parm I ordered that and onion rings. They gave us a beeper to let us know when to pick up the order. Our group also ordered chicken tenders, fries and cheese steaks. The fries and onion rings were greasy like the fryer oil was not hot when they were put in to cook. The chicken tenders were weird texture and flavor. The chicken cutlet was mostly gristle w a smear of sauce and no parm. The steaks sandwiches were edible but not good.. The rolls were weird like the ones at Subway. For around a 100 bucks we got a terrible meal. Wont be back there.More

I went down to AC on a bus trip with friends. We decided to stop in to Johnny Rockets for a bite to eat. It was a busy Sunday afternoon on the boardwalk but they found a spot for our party of 7 to sit...down and munch out. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Carolynn, Robyn, and Tracy for getting us all settled in and serving us some great food. Tracy went out of her way to "spray" the low flying seagulls away from our area so we could hear ourselves talking over their noise ... Robyn stopped by our tables to chat up a bunch of old people and make us feel very welcome ... Carolynn made sure we got what we needed and was very accommodating! The food was great, the server was wonderful and we're looking forward to our next trip there -- anyone wanting a nice nostalgic kind of meal, stop in, say HI and kick back and relax. They do all the work!! Enjoy ... it's a great place.More

While in Atlantic City we ate several meals, mostly breakfast at this restaurant. Covid has certainly affected the economy in Atlantic City and many businesses are closed. While some choices were limited regarding where to eat, choosing Johnny Rockets was a great decision.

Johnny Rockets was fine. Nothing to write home About but a good place for a quick bite. We went for breakfast and it was good. Service was fine. We did order a milkshake and it was too thick for the straw and also had a...lot of ice chunks still in it which was diassapointong.More

After a 5 hour drive to Atlantic City, Johnny Rockets was supposed to offer a quick, cheap, no-frills meal with easy online ordering and pickup. The online ordering process was easy but there was a failure to launch from there. A chicken fingers meal and...a crispy chicken club (chicken fingers in a sandwich) with a side salad. That was the order. What did we get when we arrived back at our hotel? A cold, grilled chicken club, not tasty crispy breaded fingers, with wilted lettuce and no dressing to be found for the tiny salad of browned field "greens". The chicken fingers flew the coop. Just gone. Nowhere. The fries were cold and limp as an old man on a winter day. The staff were far from rocket scientists. There was no organization for take-out orders, people ordering outside and people waiting on line inside to be seated. I could see my order in the outside pickup window so I asked for it. I was told I had to go to see the hostess at the indoor line. It was 15 minutes later my quick, cheap meal was handed to me, a receipt stapled to the outside with everything I ordered listed and check by a pen mark, providing a false sense of security the order was packed complete. If I could give a negative rating, I would. If you are looking for something quick and cheap, avoid waiting in line with the Boardwalk Empire of Bums, and locals, who appeared to think the food and service was good at Johnny Rockets. You're better off getting McDonald's or Dunkin' Donuts for some rocket fuel to get through your first exhausted night in AC.More

Disclaimer: Not a Burgers & Fries person. The grilled chicken sandwich was not the best! The onion rings were ok and the skate was Meh!

I love Johnny Rockets in Philly and was excited to go to the one in AC. The service was very slow, it took almost 20 minutes for us to get water and by that time we were ready to order. the food came out quick...enough. Despite a global pandemic, they do not serve breakfast outdoors. You have to wait until 11/lunch if you want to eat outside. The waitress has her mask under nose (why even bother wearing one?). My food was fine but nothing to write home about, disappointing...won't be back if we can avoid it.More

Great shakes and good service 👌 by far the best food for price on the boardwalk. We will for sure be back next time.

Loved, loved, loved their strawberry-banana shake. Their onion rings are so good too. Husband had the Rocket hot dog, son had the hamburger and I at the Philly cheesesteak and loved them. Sad that the closest one is in Long Island, NY and we're in...Queens, NY.More

The host and waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and made sure I felt safe and welcome dining there. As I entered, I was informed about wearing a mask until I received my beverage (which arrived quickly). The table was cleaned & sanitized, with a marker...on the table noting that. My meal arrived quickly, and was make exactly as I had requested. Everything was fresh and tasty, and wasn't greasy or burnt. I was served quickly, and my waitperson checked on my throughout my meal, but I i didn't feel rushed. As the rules and regulations for dining are changing frequently, be sure to check to see if they are open for indoor and/or outdoor dining, and what their hours of operations are. (Each restaurant has different operating hours that may differ from their regular "pre-2020" dining schedule. BE SURE TO TIP YOUR WAITSTAFF... they are working during some really difficult times, with less hours, less customers, and more rules to convey to those dining there. Believe it or not, some guests aren't being kind to these people, which in my opinion is not good. If you have an extra $1 or 2 to add to the tip, I know it would be appreciated.More
