For us, this is a neighborhood restaurant. Food is reliably delicious, terrific happy hour IF you can get a seat at the bar. Great bartenders, wonderful drinks. The seafood is impeccably fresh. Their brussels sprouts will turn you into a lover of the small cabbage. The architecture of the building is quite interesting. And how fun is it to eat... More

This is the third year in a row I have been here. Every January I attend a conference with co-workers/friends and this place has become tradition. The bldg is very eclectic and charming. I love the history and ambiance. The food has always been amazing and never disappoints. The service is by far the best. During each visit our servers... More

I have fond memories of this restaurant and remember eating one of the best steaks I've ever had. This trip, the meal seemed less-than expected for the pricey meal. The filet was rather tasteless and served with a limp piece of broccolini. The Smoked Black Pepper Bacon appetizer was fantastic, and the Crab dip appetizer was creamy and delicious. One... More

Had two dinners here during a conference. The appetizers and dinners are huge portions. Everything great quality and a decent wine list. Service was very good. You will not leave hungry. The appetizers we had were Kobe Sliders, Calamari & Smoked Black Pepper Bacon. Lobster Bisque & Beet Salad was tasty. For dinner had the Ribeye one night and Rack... More

This place is the triple threat - great food, consistently stellar service, and a truly unique and beautiful setting. It's classic AC in the best sense! I also love that it's not in a hotel on the boardwalk with that casino smell wafting through it. Even my brother, who was a food critic for many years, thought this was a... More

We dined there in November, after reading reviews I thought it would be a real treat. Our reservations were early at 5:30 because we had a show to attend. Fresh hot bread was very good. Service was very attentive and explained the menu and answered any questions that we had. He said the house specialty was the Lobster Thermidor, which... More

My wife an I have been visiting the Knife and Fork for over 40 years. I even proposed there in 1976. Fond memories! That makes the Thanksgiving dinner even more disappointing. The full menu was available, but we elected to try the traditional holiday fare: Turkey and trimmings. The salad was good and the crab and corn chowder ok, however,... More

Just had dinner with the wife, at Knife & Fork Inn. If you are looking for a dining experience, then this is where to go. Operating since 1912, you are eating with history. As for the food, our oyster appetizer was fresh& tasty. My wife had the porterhouse special( cooked perfectly at a medium rare & as tender as could... More

Ate here years ago and forgot how much I loved it. The lobster thermidor is their signature dish, and it was terrific. They have a special with a soup, salad, lobster thermidor and filet that is a very good value. The Filet oscar was also very nice. For appetizers, we tried the crab and artichoke dip and the bacon. Both... More
