Last night we had an early 5:00 pm dinner at this restaurant. My sister’s boyfriend recommended it. I thought I had several favorite Italian restaurants: well add it to top of list!! They make table side mozzarella. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We ordered prosciutto and...red peppers for it. So GOOD!!! We had the shrimp oregano with spinach. It was superb. We also had a steak that melted in your mouth. Bread is delicious. Service is excellent! Best ricotta cheesecake EVER!!!More

I will admit it.. I am a foodie that has ate ever EVER 5 star and HOT SPOT in the area ( NYC and and TriState area) This is our FAVORITE restaurant. There are literally THOUSANDS of restaurants between NYC and NJ .. nothing comes...close to food. It is that AMAZING.. I love baked clams .. they have best .. The Burattta made fresh Tableside is amazing. The stuffed Calamari was tender and made to perfection. My husbands veal chops was … just to die for. Cons… NONE …More

My dinner special soft crab shell with shrimp included 2 crabs and 2 shrimps that was breaded and fried, with couple capers on top, no sauce, no garnish. For $42. Drinks overpriced. Service was rushed, nobody explained how the food was prepared. Nobody came up...to ask how was the food or if we need anything. It seemed that they couldn’t handle amount of people they had. 1 single bathroom in the middle of the kitchen. My friends sea bass was ok too. Won’t be back.More

I previously reviewed Cafe 2825 in Aug 2018. Having returned in July 2021 I can tell you the quality of the meal we ate was at least as good! This is simply one of the best meals you will ever eat. The only negative thing...I can say is it is extremely difficult to get a reservation. Once you've gotten past that, however, you can rest assured you will have a unique experience. There are so many things you should order, so hopefully you have a larger and/or hungry group. Definitely get the fresh mozzarella, but beyond that you really can't go wrong. Enjoy your amazing face stuffing!More

Sooo disappointing on the homemade mozzarella (fresh diced tomatoes; not sautéed in oil, etc); stuffed artichoke (no idea where this recipe came from); cacio e Pepe HORRIBLE...pasta was so overcooked and too thin; Entrees where fabulous as was the tartufo...wine list also lacking...

This was our first visit to Cafe 2825. It was highly recommended on different venues and far exceeded our expectations! Very small and cozy atmosphere. We spoke with the owner prior to ordering. He was very personable and gave us insight to his menu. The...table side prepared specialties are to die for and they're a must have! My wife and I shared the freshly prepared mozzarella, tomatoes with roasted peppers. The menus all looked so great, particularly the house specials. We ordered and shared twin lobster tails and shrimp with pasta and an overwhelming portion of chicken parm which we couldn't finish. We ended our wonderful dinner with cappuccino, expresso while sharing Tiramisu. Everything was unbelievably outstanding, so much we had to share our experience with the owner in person. We were treated like old friends. We only wish we lived closer so we could dine here more frequent. Highly recommend to anybody who visits AC. We'll be back to try other dishes and see the warm hearted staff. Our only disappointment is that we haven't been here sooner. BTW, this establishment is well prepared with Covid protocols in place keeping all patrons safe. Thank you Cafe 2825! See you soon!More
