The mojitos here are fantastic. I love the bread the Cuban bread really tasty sugary. Their chicken empanadas are fantastic. Great place to eat outside on the boardwalk

I waited two years to eat at Cubacan. I heard it was good. It was awful. First I ordered a skirt steak dish, medium. It came out raw. They took it back, and brought it back...raw. Awful! The tostones were also extremely dry. It was my birthday dinner, and it was extremely disappointing. I should have known when the restaurant... More
Super chill, awesome vibe ... drinks were on point and food was spectacular !! We were going to have a meal, but settled on a large selection of apps and a ensalad de aquacate ...croquettes, empenadas, plantains, rice/beans and the sliders .. all were great my favorite, were the croquettes, wife loved sliders .. nothing was left on our plates,... My first visit to Cubacan was more than 2 years ago. As a latina, I was not pleased with their food. I decided, however, to give them a second chance and ordered take out. I ordered Ropa Vieja, which was included with white rice and black beans. If I would've eaten in their restaurant, everything would've been served separately. However,... More
Great food and great drinks. Set on the boardwalk in asbury park, this place packs them in. The food is consistently delicious. Worth a visit.
My large family and I stopped a Cubacan on the boardwalk for an early dinner this summer and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and drinks we were offered. As I revealed in an earlier Asbury Park review, the food here is very good - and I am coming from downtown NYC - so I know what's good.... More
