Este lugar es lo que yo llamaría un hueco en la pared, de entrada es una casita antigua habilitada para el disfrute de la más deliciosa comida colombiana. Comida exquisita y una atención muy personal! This place is what I will call a hole in the wall, it looks like an old house that has been arranged to serve the... More

This was the best lunch I had in Medellin. If you are looking for a traditional place with local flavors, this is your place. It has been visited by many celebrities and artists, and you can find their signatures and photographs in the walls. Excellent services and very good prices

We ordered the cazuela de fríjoles, which was very good. It is the typical paisa food, but with a twist, which I, being Colombian and having had it many times, found very interesting and savory. The service of the place is very good: the waitresses are nice, fast, and are always there to help. I didn't try the other things,... More

The food was really great but quite expensive just for one bowl of food. It was good but not the best for the price

Ridiculously expensive for average tasting ajiaco in Colombia. The menu makes it seem like the restaurant has a long history & "professionalism" in making ajiaco and mondongo, but it's really not. The best places to try these are in random places on the hill where they still cook with wood burning stoves. I spoke to some locals about this place... More

You get lots of food and you won't go hungry as the food is also delicious. Half a portion of Cazuela de fríjoles is more than enough for one person. Also free refill on the home made lemonade.

I'm on 8th street often, and occasionally I have a change to eat at this quaint little cafe. The soups are great, but a little on the expensive side. Apparently, some real VIP's eat at this place on occasion, as there are military police standing guard from time to time.

To start, I am not a huge fan of Colombian food. I do like it but it seems to me that there is much, much less variety than we experience with other cuisines. I can't say that as a true expert on Colombia food but I have stayed here for two months and I've eaten in a lot of places.... More

medellin has a gem of a restaurant in ajiacos y mondogo. 3 dishes is the entire menu, but these are the best in their genre. The ajiaco, originaly from bogota, is the best in the world. Go figure the paisa's make it better. The cazuela de frijoles is ofcourse awesome, it's a staple for paisas. Finally the mondongo served with... More

This is a small family affair that opens at midday, has only 3 items on the menu and when they run out they run out. Awesome food, awesome experience can't wait to go back for more mondongo....it was so good our 6 year old son thought the tripe was chicken soup.....
