This is a great restaurant with a true French chef in the kitchen married to a Colombian woman who skilfully takes care of her many clients. The product of both people, gender and cultures is a surpringly balanced cuisine. We we're four around the table, all ordening different main fish dishes, a wise thing to do in a maritime city... We were a group of 7 people for lunch. The restaurante has a very nice ambience, not noisy at all, the owner and his wife are very nice and you can tell they do their work with love and care. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the hachis parmentier au poisson.

We came to Ohlala for a cooking class with some friends and made friends with others during cooking and the whole thing turned into a wonderful experience of food, friends, drinks and music. Carolina, a sweet Colombian lady and her love Gilles a French chef and their helpers made us feel so good. They were attentive to our heritage and... More

Ohlala Bistro is another little gem located in Getsemani (Getsemani is so much better for quality and prices than inside the old city). This lovely bistro offers french cuisine with a colombian twist. We shared the tomato de arbol salad: a fantastic salad of fresh ingredients with delicious tomato de arbol, thin apple slices, blue cheese, and a savory dressing... More

If you are staying inside the old city wall, it is worth a 5 minute walk into Getsemani to have an incredible meal. The restaurant has a bit of French/ Caribbean feel. Very charming atmosphere. I had an incredible seafood stew, that was a sublime mixture of seafood, broth and spices. I believe it was called cazuela de mar. I... More

We actually didn't realize until we left, that we went to the wrong restaurant. But what a great mistake. The food was excellent. I had the traditional fried snapper, tostones and coconut rice which was wonderful, but my wife had the vegetarian quinoa dish which was great....and I do not like quinoa. But the added experience was the phenomenal conversation... More

This is not a restaurant review per se but a review of the cooking class we took there. Our host Carolina, Chef Gilles, and our helper Maria were equally kind, funny, and patient as we followed their instructions and made a wonderful meal and an even better memory. Muchas Gracias y Merci Beaucoup!!

Took a cooking class in September from Chef Gil at Ooh La La in Getsemaní. He and his staff were so much fun and I learned so much while preparing ceviche, Posta Cartagenera, and white chocolate, coconut milk and passion fruit soup. . I only recently arrived home and found Chef Gil's handwritten menu, notes, and drawings which I will... More

Description
Oh la la Restaurant offers a range of local dishes interpreted by a French Chef and its local Colombian team. Its technique and savoir faire is essentially French with a definite Costeño twist. In a corner of the famous and trendy Getsemani neighbourhood, the restaurant is located in an old colonial house of the Vargas family. The walls and decoration tell about their story. We offer a menu a la Carte as well as daily specials in accordance with seasonal products available from street sellers and local markets. Some of you will be delighted to hear that it is really important to offer some vegetarian alternative. Our gnocchi de yuca with blue cheese are delicious. We are transferring our savoir-faire through some cooking lessons for individuals and for groups for up to 15 people. Atelier de cuisine are also available for children party. Oh la la is located in the heart of trendy Getsemani, on the famous Calle Larga and esquina Vargas.
