Nice ambience and cosy restaurant but pricing a bit on the high side for most food. Food generally is reasonable or nice. If on business meal still OK .

I went there several times this year and the Beijing roast duck was very good. But recently I went there twice just to eat roast duck ( enough for two persons) and every time the waitress told us that the duck was sold out ( 18:00 with almost no people in the restaurant) Also the waitress were very unfriendly. Will... More

I have to disagree with many of the recent reviews on Zen, in particular regarding the prices. As a resident of Suzhou, this place is only average in terms of cost. Sure, there are plenty of Chinese restaurants with lower prices, but there isn't much dim-sum available in Suzhou, and not in SIP. The 4 points Sheraton restaurant probably has... More

Big variety of the food in menu is a plus. But food itself is nothing special: just average, however priced very high. Quite cold inside. Service poor. Decoration much below average. Do not recommend.

It was absolutely an disappointing experience. Compare to the Zen in Hong Kong, neither the food nor the service met our expectation. Many dim sum we've ordered came cold, if it's not warm. Not to mention, the fried rice was totally a dump! Worst than my home maid cook... We complaint to the service staff and captain, but all we've... More

Many people recommend but I did not notice something so good.... There are plenty of good restaurants in suzhou and I wouldn't recommend zen only because food is very standard but very expensive.

Some people love this restaurant. I found normal and with no special taste. I would rather prefer to go in a little chinese restaurant around. Only positivie thing is the apparent cleaning.

The food is just average but the prices are extremely expensive. It is a chain restaurant with branches overseas. You will feel you are in the west eating at an upscale Chinese restaurant but the food is just average.

I have eaten in Suzhou a few times but this place is my favorite. The building is very slickly designed, inside and out. I ate in a side room with a group but the main area is spacious and good. The private rooms are very nice and relaxing even if they can get a little hot with a full table.... More
