Good Indian food. The owner is Sardarji Jaswinder Singh and a very nice person. The hotel is tuff to find if you follow google maps. There are 2 davat's and 1 priyanka. Only this davat is working. Other 2 are shut. This hotel is close from Grand Theatre and Science Museum metro station. By taxi it will take around 15 RMB Fone number +8619129358376

Food is better than Bollywood Cafe. I would certainly vouch for visiting the restaurant as the food is really good and service too. There's always a better option and was close to our hotel in Futian. Onion Pakode and Dal makhani couldn't be better in Shenzhen, China.

Best Indian food in Shenzhen

During my 3 days visit to Shenzhen. I have been here for all 3 days for dinner. The taste and quality of food didnt disappoint me a bit hence I showed up for 3 days straight. As a vegetarian I would recommend you to try Dahi batat chat, Aalo tikki chat, Masala papad, Paneer butter masala, Paneer tikka masala and Palak paneer. On a special request the owner made me paneer tikka which was outstanding in the flavor. If you are a tea(Chai) lover then this place would provide you with best masala chai do try. Its very rare that you find authentic taste for Indian food and this place will make you feel home. One tip: Dont be hurry in receiving your order be patient and you will enjoy the best Indian food cooked with love.

The food for the amateur, we didn't like it, it wasn't very crowded, maybe it tastes good for someone. Only three tables were occupied, although Sunday nights must have many visitors if delicious. The price is very high for such food.

Dear Guest , thanks for visit , there is no matter how the food taste when some one want eat for free , we understand your pocket not afford expensive and fresh , this is why you guys asked for discount and free curry and we refused it we can understand you came here to have a chance for free food on week end , dear every one is not same , we not need explain what we serve our clients are 90 % regular and we only focus on fresh , hygiene , tasty and healthy food this is why we survived for 9 years , our food os expensive and we suggest to the low budget people please not visit us because quality need pay .

Worst Indian food in Shenzhen, the attitude of Punjabi owners reflects absolutely poorly on how Sardars back home are. Don't ever waste money on eating rubbish food while the owners throw rotten attitude towards customers.

Awesome Punjabi Food in China

Thanks to the Lord have a Real Punjabi Restaurant which can satisfy your Punjabi stomach, we ordered Dal Makhani,Butter Chicken and Tandoori chicken, tawa chapati,green salad ,garlic nan , masala tea is awesome ,it's really really yummy ,service is slow but once served we understand the reason ,chinese staff very cooperative help us with the market information .If you are looking for low budget restaurant please not go to Dawat it's bit expensive but who can spent 150 plus per person this is the place to dine most authentic Punjab taste food ,not crowded at all .

Magical North Indian Cuisine

Wow!! The food here is absolutely wonderful!! We started with vegetarian samosas, which are a common staple in any Indian restaurant. They were just how we love them, and the mint and chutney sauce is always a nice condiment. They have quite possibly the most tender Lamb Rogan Josh I've ever eaten. Perfectly spiced to medium heat (they can make it spicier on request) each bite was relished. The Palak Paneer was so delicious we demolished it before being able to get a photo of it. Soft cheese in spinach is a nice spice-free dish to balance out the food order. My wife loves this one! The Lamb Biryani has such wonderful aromatics complimented by that exquisite tender lamb aforementioned - Highly recommend this dish! We also loved the mouth-watering Chicken Tikka-Masala and its addictive creamy sauce. Having soft centred but crispy Naan to help scoop up the thick flavorful sauce is a must. The chef / owner is Punjabi and exudes great care, pride and attention-to-detail in every dish he puts out to every customer.💞 The attentive service here is great, and even on busy nights there wait isn't even noticeable. This place is great not just for a couples, but large groups can easily be catered for. They hold monthly buffet nights where you can sample a bit of everything for one affordable price. Come to Dawat and experience truely authentic North Indian style cusine. You will be back sooner than you expect, as we were. 😄😄

The Best Indian Restaurant in Shenzhen

Tonight we went out to Dawat restaurant (Futian, line 2 Yannan exit C). Omg 😱😱😱 The food, the service, the place itself are incredible!!! It’s very spacious, suitable even for an Indian wedding 💃🕺, with a rooftop. The food was served within 10-20 minutes. We ordered Mutton Biryani (lamb was super tender; rice was very flavorful); Palak Paneer (didn’t take a picture because I wolfed it down within 10 minutes 😂😂😂), vegetable samosas, garden salad (with goat cheese). Masala tea was neither too sweet, nor too sour. It was perfect!!!!! Even my husband who doesn’t really like tea ordered a cup for himself. We highly recommend Dawat if you fancy Indian cuisine in Futian 👍👍👍

There are close to 4 or 5 Indian restaurants around this place but this place has best quality food, Feels really good and no other side effects with food consumed here. We stayed for close to 14 days and most of our lunch/dinner was here.

Went there on the day of the typhoon, Luckily it was one of the few restaurants open on that day, But the Food was one of the worst i have had in shenzhen, It was very over priced for the quality that was served to me, my suggestions is to avoid this place at all costs

Best Indian in SZ

Came here with my friends. We had tikka masala chicken, lamb, potatoes, rice and bread. I recommend this place if you want to eat good Indian food with uncompetetive price.

Great authentic Indian food

We had a set menu, paid for in advance by Internet at a discount. This turned out amply sufficient for four. The food was delicious, and authentic according to an Indian friend who accompanied us. Service is very friendly and there are ample seats (two or three floors). Definitely come back.
