Let’s start with the food. The two of us ordered two entrees – the pork ribs and the prawn, mango stir fry. Both were phenomenal and filling enough. We split the banana fritters dessert – normally, I’m not big on desserts, but this was a...More

I have been to a number of the restaurants in this chain and they never disappoint. It is worthwhile getting a tuk tuk (USD 3) as it is not in the centre but the food is great. Can really recommend the crocodile burger! Lovely desserts...More

Another must go restaurant in Siem Reap. I loved the garden/patio and the Friends and Stuff store. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and prices are very reasonable.

The food at Marum is really delicious and it's a wonderful project that raises awareness about many social issues while providing opportunities to young Cambodians.

We had two dishes - pork ribs ($8) and BBQ frog legs (about $6). The ribs were nothing special, a surprise given the high cost. Frog legs were outstanding and had very nice spice accompaniments. Portions are fairly small - expect 1.5 dishes per person...More

This is a great place to come and have some great food whilst supporting a local charity. Whilst it's not centrally located, the garden setting is just lovely and food is super tasty. I tried a few drinks on their cocktail list and it was...More

I'd been to the branch in Phnom Penh, which had better service and atmosphere. But don't come here expecting great service. The students in training don't know as much English as you might expect. They are genuinely trying to give the best service they are...More

Lovely garden setting, excellent fresh & vegetarian friendly food, great fresh drinks, and all for a good cause. Would highly recommend eating here. The service was great and the waiters were very attentive and helpful. One small criticism/suggestion is that when I received the bill,...More

We ate here last night. Looks popular with many tourists. We found the service ranged from a bored teacher to students who appeared to not know what they were doing. It took five requests to get 2 bottles of beer. The starter and mains came...More

Hi Carolyn A, Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback! Apologies to hear about the service you experienced when you dined with us recently. We will definitely follow up and look into this. We're really glad you enjoyed your dishes - our...More

We saw this restaurant was rated highly on Tripadvisor and noticed it was the sister restaurant to Friends in Phnom Penh which we'd enjoyed so we booked a table. It was excellent. The staff are all trying really hard to 'get it right' but supervised...More

Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!
